摘要: Systems and methods are provided for authenticating a user of a computing device. An example system includes a memory storing instructions, and a processor configured to execute the instructions to receive an authentication request from a user of a computing device, determine a context of the authentication request, determine a physical location of the user, and perform, based on the context of the authentication request and the physical location of the user, an associate proximity detection. The associate proximity detection includes steps to identify an associate based on at least one of the context of the authentication request or the physical location of the user, determine a physical location of the identified known associate, and determine a proximity of the user to the identified known associate. The authentication request may be approved when the determined proximity is within a threshold.

In one embodiment, the mobile device is configured to receive a product code associated with a manufacturer product offered for sale at a merchant location. The mobile device may further provide the product code to a financial service provider system configured to create a manufacturer-based financial service account associated with the product manufacturer. Further, the mobile device may provide, to the financial service provider system, information associated with a received account application, where the financial service provider system may create the manufacturer-based financial service account based on the received information and the product code. The mobile device may also receive a purchase code for purchasing the product using the manufacturer-based financial service account, provide it at the merchant POS location, and receive a confirmation of product purchase.

摘要: A method for recognizing an object in a video stream may include receiving a video stream comprising a plurality of video frames from a video source. The method may also select at least one video frame from the video frames according to a frame selection rate. The method may also partition the selected video frame into a first plurality of image blocks, and recognize, out of the first plurality of image blocks, a second plurality of image blocks which comprise an image of an object, the recognition being based on an image recognition parameter determined by a machine-learning algorithm. The method may also determine that at least one of the second plurality of image blocks corresponds to the object based on a likelihood metric, the likelihood metric being determined by the processor based on at least the frame selection rate, and display, on a display, information identifying the object.

摘要: In certain embodiments, systems and methods are provided for authenticating a user of a computing device. In some embodiments, a request to authorize a transaction associated with a user may be received, and a current location of the user may be determined. A determination of whether a threshold proximity exists (between the current location of the user and at least one location of at least one known associate) may be performed. The authorization request may be approved based on the determination of the threshold proximity. As an example, the known associate of the user may be determined from among a plurality of associates based on a geographical relationship between the location of the known associate and the current location of the user. The authorization request may be approved in response to a determination that the threshold proximity exists between the user's current location and the known associate's location.
