Abstract: A battery includes a plurality of battery cells arranged in a first direction, wherein a first wall of each of the battery cells is provided with a pressure relief mechanism configured to actuate to relieve a pressure inside the battery cell when the pressure or a temperature inside the battery cell reaches a threshold; and a protecting component, where the protecting component covers the pressure relief mechanisms of the plurality of battery cells outside the plurality of battery cells and forms an exhaust passage with the first walls of the plurality of battery cells, and the exhaust passage is configured to discharge emissions discharged by the pressure relief mechanisms from both ends of the exhaust passage in the first direction when the pressure relief mechanisms actuate.

Abstract: A battery includes an accommodating box and a battery module. The accommodating box includes a box body, a box cap, and a box bottom. The box cap and the box bottom are connected with two opposite ends along a first direction of the box body, the box cap is detachably arranged, a cavity is provided in the box body, and the box body is provided with a support portion. The battery module is provided in the cavity and includes an accommodating member and at least two battery cells fixed in the accommodating member. The accommodating member is provided with a connecting portion. The connecting portion is pressed onto a surface of the support portion facing the box cap and is supported by the support portion, and is fixedly connected with the support portion, to realize supporting and fixing of the box body to the battery module.

Abstract: The disclosure provides a battery and a method for manufacturing the battery. The battery includes: a sampling apparatus; and at least two battery cells arranged in a first direction. Ends of the battery cells are provided with terminal posts, and an extending direction of the terminal posts protruding from the ends of the battery cells is perpendicular to the first direction. The sampling apparatus includes a sampling element having a built-in sampling signal line, at least two mounting portions are formed on the sampling element, and the mounting portions match side shapes of the terminal posts, so that the mounting portions are closely attached to the terminal posts of the corresponding battery cells. The sampling apparatus further includes a connection portion connected to the sampling signal line, and the connection portion electrically connects the mounting portions and the terminal posts.

Abstract: The present application provides a welding assembly and a battery module. The welding assembly includes: a first weldment; and a second weldment, welded and fixed with the first weldment to form a welding seam; where, at least one side of the welding seam is provided with an exhaust channel; and the exhaust channel is located between the first weldment and the second weldment. In the present application, an exhaust gas generated during welding can be discharged from the exhaust channel to prevent it from entering the welding seam to reduce the strength of the welding seam.
