    Abstract: In certain embodiments, one or more Citizens Broadband Radio Service (CBRS) service devices (CBSDs) may be migrated from their current Spectrum Access System (SAS) to a new SAS, where at least one existing PAL or GAA spectrum grant is transferred from the current SAS to the new SAS without waiting for a timer associated with the existing spectrum grant to expire. CBSDs may be migrated one at a time or multiple CBSDs of a single service provider may be migrated in a single process where the multiple CBSDs are identified by a shared organization ID associated with the service provider. In either case, a migrating CBSD can continue to use its previously existing spectrum grants after migrating to the new SAS without significant delay.

    Abstract: According to one configuration, a system includes provisioning hardware and a wireless station that supports communications with one or more communication devices. The wireless station receives a first notification from the provisioning system. The first notification indicating that the wireless station is assigned to a first allocation management resource. The first allocation management resource operable to allocate wireless resources for use by the wireless station to support wireless communications. The wireless station communicates with the first allocation management resource to receive allocation information indicating the wireless resources allocated for use by the wireless station. In response to receiving a second notification that the wireless station has been reassigned to a second allocation management resource, the wireless station communicates with the second allocation management resource instead of the first allocation management resource to receive the allocation information.

    Abstract: Apparatus and methods for registering and authenticating a client device with a wireless-enabled network. In one embodiment, the apparatus and methods provide an alternate wireless connectivity link to register an installed high-power fixed wireless apparatus (FWA) or Customer Premises Equipment (CPE) with a managed wireless network infrastructure, such as one utilizing “quasi-licensed” CBRS (Citizens Broadband Radio Service) wireless spectrum or another shared access approach. In one variant, the alternate wireless link comprises a mobile cellular channel established via an application program executing on a mobile device. In another variant, an Internet of Thing Network (IoT) is used for the alternate link. In one implementation, spectrum grants are communicated back the FWA/CPE via the alternate link to enable subsequent CBRS-band high-power operation.

    Abstract: A network environment includes a communication management resource in communication with customer premises equipment through a wireless base station. The communication management resource (such as a spectrum access system) receives a request for allocation of a wireless channel from customer premises equipment. The request is generated via the customer premises equipment and communicated through the wireless base station to the communication management resource. In addition to receiving the allocation request from the customer premises equipment, the communication management resource receives channel selection information from the wireless base station. Via the channel selection information, the wireless base station suggests/selects a wireless channel to assign for use by the customer premises equipment. In response to receiving the request, and in accordance with the channel selection information, the communication management resource allocates a selected wireless channel to the customer premises equipment as indicated by the channel selection information.

    Abstract: Various embodiments comprise systems, methods, architectures, mechanisms and apparatus for enabling dynamic configuration of CBSD devices with CBRS spectrum grants defined/sized using enhanced SAS channel assignment capabilities supporting low bandwidth channels/applications (e.g., IoT services) in the shared spectrum while minimizing spectrum wastage.
