    摘要: A magnetic recording medium comprises a support the magnetic layer and a magnetic layer, coated on said support, comprising magnetic powder, a binder, (I) an ester compound having the formula: ##STR1## in which R1 and R2 are each a saturated alkyl group having 1 to 25 carbon atoms, branched or straight, the total carbon number of R1 and R2 being from 22 to 34, and R3 is a saturated or unsaturated alkyl group having 7 to 29 carbon atoms, branched or straight, and (II) an ester compound having the formula: ##STR2## in which R4 is an aliphatic hydrocarbon group having 1 to 29 carbon atoms, straight or branched, and R5 is an aliphatic hydrocarbon group having 1 to 23 carbon atoms, straight or branched, or a straight aliphatic hydrocarbon group having 24 to 36 carbon atoms, the total carbon number of R4 and R5 being 15 to 65. Alternatively, the ester (II) compound can be replaced by an aliphatic acid having from 8 to 30 carbon atoms. The magnetic layer comprising compounds (I) and (II) may also include an aliphatic acid having from 10-30 carbon atoms.

An identifying information setting section (25) sets identifying information on each of the plurality of battery elements (11A-11D). A connection mode managing section (47) manages the connection mode between the plurality of battery elements (11A-11D) by using the identifying information set by the identifying information setting section (25). The identifying information on each of the plurality of battery elements (11A-11D) is made up of a combination of first identifying information on the potential of the one of the plurality of battery elements (11A-11D) and second identifying information on the battery pack (21A) serving as a superordinate battery element to which the one of the plurality of battery elements (11A-11D) belongs.

    摘要: In a radio receiving apparatus, an analog received signal is converted into a digital received signal. An unwanted wave in an adjacent channel band is rejected, that is adjacent to a passband for the digital received signal. The digital received signal with no unwanted wave is converted into a first demodulated signal. The first demodulated signal is converted into a second demodulated signal in analog form. A noise component is extracted from the first demodulated signal. The second demodulated signal is suppressed under squelch control when a squelch voltage that is a voltage of the noise component after rectification and smoothing becomes equal to or higher than a predetermined threshold level.
