A system, and a method of using a system, for controlled tool operation. The method includes providing a tool used in a force application such as a such torque application. The tool communicates with a controller which can communicate with the tool, and to a display in communication with the tool and the controller. The controller can be programmed with operational information about a tool operation. Information related to the operational information is displayed to a user during use. Service information including at least information about an amount of force applied during use is recorded and stored in the controller. Also disclosed is a computerized system for controlled tool operation which sends operational instructions to the tool before use and retrieves service information from the tool after use.

The present disclosure relates to electronic torque tools that allow an offset length of an adapter or extension being used in conjunction with the tool to be input into the tools. The tools may also include an input for a head length, when the head of the tool is interchangeable. The tools use the input(s) to calculate a correction factor. The correction factor is used to adjust the torque measurement of the tools so that the tools display the actual torque value without the need for re-calibration or the performance of external calculations.

An implant delivery system is disclosed. The delivery system includes an elongated member having an implant mounting location. A self-expandable implant is mounted at the implant mounting location. The implant is held in a compressed orientation by a retractable sheath. An interlock structure prevents the implant from deploying prematurely as the sheath is retracted. The interlock structure includes radio-opaque markers that identify the position of the implant.

A method (and system) of transferring data of multimedia objects from servers to clients using memory in video-on-demand clusters, includes dividing multimedia objects into segments and independently serving and caching the segments on a plurality of servers, retrieving the segments from the servers, directing the client to the server that is responsible for serving the at least one of the segments using a redirection algorithm, and predicting a likely sequence of segments that will be requested by the client and prefetching data from a next segment in the likely sequence of segments and loading the next segment into memory within one of the plurality of servers.
