Abstract:
The present disclosure provides a container including a housing shell and an interior sleeve positioned within the housing shell. The housing shell can include a magnetic panel within one end, wherein the magnetic panel is positioned flush against at least one end of the interior sleeve. The position of the magnetic panel determines whether the container is in a locked or unlocked position. The interior sleeve can slide in and out of the housing shell when the container is in the unlocked position.
Abstract:
Embodiments include an apparatus for preventing hyper-flexion of a joint including a sleeve having a first end and a second end and a first portion and a second portion, a first pad associated with the first portion of the sleeve, where the first pad is is selectively removable from a first covering, a second pad associated with the second portion of the sleeve, the second pad being retained within a second covering, where the first pad is spaced apart from the second pad by a distance, an angle of engagement, where the angle of engagement is a predetermined angle at which the first pad engages the second pad to resist further motion and to prevent hyper-flexion of the joint, and where the first pad retained within the first covering is selectively replaceable with a first alternate pad.
Abstract:
A limb for a breathing circuit manufactured from very thin walled polymer materials has an elongate axial reinforcing spine lying freely inside the conduit and fixed to each end connector. The spine is laterally compliant but axially stiff. The spine provides resistance to tensile and compressive loads on the conduit, including that induced by prevailing internal pressures.
Abstract:
A device for captivating a variety of fasteners relative to a first member. A captivator includes a body adapted to be secured to the first member and a retainer received within the body and having a surface engaging a captured fastener. Together the body and retainer maintain the captivated fastener in place relative to the first member. Keyway surfaces are provided upon the body or retainer or both and an external or internal key engages the keyway surfaces to selectively lock the body and retainer together, such as during installation or replacement of the captured fastener. Upon removal of the key, the retainer is free to rotate and translate relative to the body.
Abstract:
Methods and computer systems for forecasting demand and availability of resources of a geographic region are provided. Physical, operational, traffic and construction data for a geographic region for a specified time period is utilized to compare the operational needs for at least one resource for a geographic region to the available resources to forecast demands and availability of the at least one resource for the geographic region over the specified time period and determine whether the demand for the at least one resource exceeds the availability of the at least one resource. The forecasted demand and availability of the at least one resource for the geographic region for the specified time period is stored and presented.

Abstract:
An exemplary embodiment of the present invention provides a method of generating a representation of a storage network. The method includes obtaining an request from a client system to view contents of a node in a tree model. The method also includes receiving tree information corresponding to the node and adding the tree information to the tree model.
Abstract:
A method for calculating a composite risk is disclosed. The method may include receiving information associated with a plurality of risk factors. The information may include a timeline for each risk factor, and the timeline may include a plurality of discrete time points. The method may further include determining risk values indicative of risk levels of each risk factor associated with the plurality of discrete time points. The method may also include calculating the composite risk using the determined risk values and a relationship between the composite risk and the plurality of risk factors. The composite risk may include a plurality of composite risk values associated with the plurality of discrete time points.
Abstract:
A rotor assembly for a multi-stage pump is provided. The assembly comprises a drive shaft, a rotor component and a drive component. The rotor component is located on the drive shaft and comprises a rotor element for displacing fluid through the pump when the drive shaft is rotated. The drive component is anchored to the drive shaft and transmits torque from the drive shaft to the rotor component to effect rotation of the rotor component. A sleeve element is integrated with either the drive component or the rotor component and is used to space the rotor element from the drive component. An interface surface is located on the sleeve element for interacting with the other one of the drive component and the rotor component in order to maintain orthogonal alignment between the rotor element and the drive shaft. Drive means is provided for transmitting torque between the drive component and the rotor component.
