摘要: Various systems and methods are presented in which lead acid batteries are serviced by removal, reconditioning, and refilling reconditioned battery paste into an assembly of typically bipolar electrodes that may be retained in a reusable housing and/or compression mechanism. Preferably, such batteries will include electrodes having a layer of a Magneli phase of a transition metal suboxide to so provide enhanced electrochemical and mechanical strength. and the battery paste may further include porous particles a Magneli phase of a transition metal suboxide to so provide enhanced electrolyte performance.

摘要: An electrode for a lithium secondary battery, which may be applied to the lithium secondary battery to increase cycling performance and efficiency of the battery, and a manufacturing method thereof. When the electrode for the lithium secondary battery of the present invention is applied to the lithium secondary battery, uniform deposition and stripping of lithium metals occur throughout the surface of the electrode when charging/discharging the battery, thereby inhibiting uneven growth of lithium dendrites and improving cycle and efficiency characteristics of the battery. Further, the electrode for the lithium secondary battery of the present invention exhibits remarkably high flexibility, as compared with existing electrodes including a metal current collector and an active material layer, thereby improving processability during manufacture of the electrode and assembling the battery.

The negative electrode plate of the present disclosure includes a current collector, a negative electrode active layer arranged on at least one functional surface of the current collector, and a lithium source; and the negative electrode active layer includes a negative electrode active material and a polymer, the polymer includes a first structural unit, the first structural unit is selected from an olefin compound containing a substituted or unsubstituted ureido group, and the olefin compound includes at least one cyclic group. The negative electrode plate of the present disclosure can effectively supplement a lithium loss of the lithium-ion battery in an application process, so that initial charge/discharge efficiency and cycling performance of the lithium-ion battery are improved.

摘要: A coated three-dimensional electronically conductive network for acting as an electrode in a metal or metal-ion battery is provided, wherein the metal may include one or more of Na, K, Li, Ca, Mg, and Al. The network can be a three-dimensional electronically conductive network that includes a plurality of interconnected electronically conductive wires. Such a network can have a porosity of at least 60% and a volumetric surface area of from 10−3 m2/cm3 to 100 m2/cm3. The network can additionally include an electronically insulating coating that conformally covers all surfaces of the network and that is permeable and/or conductive to ions of the metal at at least one temperature in the range of from −30° C. to 150° C.
