摘要: The invention relates to a fall detection system, for detecting human fall incidents. The detection system comprises a sensor module to be worn by a user, for collecting motion data of his body, for instance acceleration data; first evaluation logic for identifying a potential fall incident on the basis of an impact observed in the acceleration data; and second evaluation logic for verifying that the sensor module is actually worn by the user, at least around the time of said impact, to prevent the system from raising an alarm if only the sensor module has fallen. The second evaluation logic may comprise free fall detection means for evaluating the acceleration data on characteristics which are typical for a free falling object, such as one or more full rotation and/or a free falling phase, during which the magnitude of the acceleration data is relatively stable and small. Additionally or alternatively the second evaluation logic may comprise body proximity detection means for detecting whether the sensor module is in close proximity to the human body.

摘要: The present invention provides a method for finding a backup node for a node in a sensor network. Firstly, determining a node which is in a state of waiting for being an agent node among a plurality of nodes adjacent to the node to be backed up for using the agent node to find the backup node. The states of waiting for being backed up is that the quantity of electricity of the node to be backed up drops below a preset value. According to the present invention, the node to be backed up does not need to communicate with a large number of nodes. It only needs to determine an agent node among the adjacent notes to do the substantial search for a backup node.

摘要: The present invention provides method and apparatus for dynamically updating and processing the multimedia script (510) for network servers (110). By replacing a responding software module which responds to an activating instruction (m, m1, m2, . . . ) with the time-based responding software module (520, 530), the playing of the specific multimedia element no longer depends on the activating instructions (m, m1, m2) frequently inserted by program editors to be activated, but is automatically activated based on the specific time. The method and the device provided by the present invention reduces the redundant information of a multimedia playing system, avoids the situation that the corresponding multimedia element can not be displayed because the user terminal (130) misses receiving the activating instruction (m, m1, m2, . . . ).

摘要: This invention relates to methods and apparatus for detecting a fall of a user, especially to methods and apparatus for detecting a fall of a user by using pressure sensors. This invention discloses an apparatus for detecting a fall of a user, and the apparatus comprises first and second pressure sensors configured to obtain first and second data values of atmosphere pressure and intended to be worn on the body of the user, and a processor configured to derive a third data value of atmosphere pressure for determining whether a fall occurs or not from the first and second data values of atmosphere pressure. The first and second pressure sensors are configured in a way such that preset orientations of the first and second pressure sensors are opposite to each other. In this way, the weight of measuring elements comprised in the first and second pressure sensors have opposite effects on the measured atmosphere pressure, and thus (?) the measurement error caused by pressure sensor orientation variation can be reduced or even eliminated.
