Abstract: The present application relates to a current collector, an electrode plate, a battery and usages thereof. The current collector includes at least one conductive layer configured to support an electrode active material layer, and an insulation layer configured to support the at least one conductive layer. The conductive layer has a room temperature film resistance RS satisfying 0.01Ω/□≤RS≤0.15Ω/□. The current collector can significantly increase resistance in short-circuit and reduce current in the short-circuit, and reduce heat generated during the short-circuit and improving safety performance. The heat can be totally absorbed by the battery. Therefore, the resulted temperature rise of the battery is small, the damage to the battery caused by the short circuit can be limited to a “point”, and only a “point break” is formed, without influencing normal operation of the battery in a short time.

Abstract: A battery is provided in the present disclosure. The battery includes: a positive electrode plate including a positive current collector and a positive active material layer; a negative electrode plate including a positive current collector and a negative active material layer; and an electrolyte. The positive current collector includes an insulation layer used to support a conductive layer and the conductive layer used to support the positive active material layer and located above at least one surface of the insulation layer. Abstract: The present disclosure relates to the field of battery and, in particular, relates to a current collector, an electrode plate including the current collector, and an electrochemical device. The current collector of the present disclosure includes an insulation layer and a conductive layer. The insulation layer is used to support the conductive layer. The conductive layer is used to support an electrode active material layer and is located on at least one surface of the insulation layer. The insulation layer has a density smaller than that of the conductive layer. The insulation layer has a thickness of D1 satisfying 1 μm≤D1≤10 μm. The conductive layer has a thickness of D2 satisfying 200 nm≤D2≤1.5 μm. The insulation layer has a tensile strength greater than or equal to 150 MPa.

Abstract: The present disclosure relates to the technical field of energy storage, and in particular, relates to a positive electrode, a method for preparing the positive electrode and an electrochemical device. The positive electrode includes a current collector and a positive electrode active material layer that contains positive electrode active material and is arranged on at least one surface of the current collector. An inorganic layer having a thickness of 20 nm to 2000 nm is arranged on the surface of the at least one positive electrode active material layer away from the current collector. The inorganic layer is a porous dielectric layer containing no binder, and the inorganic layer has a porosity of 10%˜60%. The positive electrode active material layer according to the present disclosure significantly improves the cycle performance, high-temperature storage performance and safety of the electrochemical device.
