Abstract: A power conversion device includes a converter circuit, an inverter circuit including a switching element, a first capacitor, a buffer circuit, and a current supply circuit. The converter circuit converts a first alternating current into a direct current, and outputs the direct current to a pair of wires. The inverter circuit converts the direct current into a second alternating current by a switching operation of the switching element, and supplies the second alternating current to drive coils of a motor so that a drive shaft is rotationally driven. The first capacitor and the buffer circuit are connected between the pair of wires. The buffer circuit includes a second capacitor and a regulator connected in series. The current supply circuit supplies a current to support coils using energy stored in the second capacitor so that a load of the drive shaft is supported in a non contact manner.

Abstract: An air conditioner includes a first unit and a second unit. The first unit is connected to the second unit by a connection power wire and a connection ground wire, the connection power wire feeding power from the first unit to the second unit, the connection ground wire connecting ground of the first unit to ground of the second unit. The first unit includes a capacitor connected between the connection power wire and ground of the first unit. The connection power wire and the connection ground wire extend through a hole of a magnetic piece. The magnetic piece is configured such that when current flows through the connection power wire and the connection ground wire from one of the first unit and the second unit toward the other one of the first unit and the second unit, an orientation of a magnetic flux produced in the magnetic piece by the current that has flowed through the connection power wire is identical to an orientation of a magnetic flux produced in the magnetic piece by the current that has flowed through the connection ground wire.

Abstract: An inverter device uses an inverter to convert DC voltage supplied from a rectifying component to AC voltage and applies the AC voltage to an inductive load. The inverter device includes a shunt resistor provided on a direct-current link interconnecting the rectifying component and the inverter, a first terminal passing current to the shunt resistor, a second terminal to which the current from the shunt resistor flows, and a printed board having a conductive pattern with first and second conductive pattern components joining the shunt resistor and the first and second terminals, respectively. The first conductive pattern component includes a first central region connecting right and left side ends of the shunt resistor to right and left side ends of the first terminal, and first right and left side protruding regions. A ratio of areas of the first left and right side protruding regions is 0.6 to 1.6.
