摘要: An intercooler includes a heating portion in which flow path tubes and fins are stacked with each other. A second cooling medium flow path of the flow path tubes is located upstream of a first cooling medium flow path of the flow path tubes with respect to a flow direction of supercharged intake air. The second cooling medium flow path includes a second U-turn portion in which the second cooling medium makes a U-turn. In the second cooling medium flow path, a downstream flow path located downstream of the second U-turn portion is located upstream, in the flow direction of the supercharged intake air, of an upstream flow path located upstream of the second U-turn portion. The fins include a heat exchange limiting portion at least in a part adjacent to a most upstream part, in the flow direction of the supercharged intake air, of the downstream flow path.

摘要: A method for manufacturing a heat exchanger includes: assembling a plurality of heat exchanger components in an assembly step; and forming a film on surfaces of the heat exchanger components using a chemical vapor deposition method in a film formation step after the assembly step. The film can restrict a formation of a through hole due to corrosion. The film can be restricted from being damaged at a delivery or assembling time, because the film formation step is provided after the assembly step. An occurrence of clogging can be restricted at a minute portion inside of the heat exchanger in the film formation step, because the film is formed using the chemical vapor deposition method.

摘要: An intercooler includes a heat exchanger that has a first heat exchange portion through which a first heat exchange medium flows and a second heat exchange portion through which a second heat exchange medium flows. The first heat exchange medium flowing through the first heat exchange portion cools the supercharged intake air by exchanging heat with the supercharged intake air. The second heat exchange medium flowing through the second heat exchange portion cools the supercharged intake air by exchanging heat with the supercharged intake air. The heat exchanger includes an inner fin configured to enhance the heat exchange between the supercharged intake air and the first heat exchange medium. The heat exchanger includes a boiling suppression portion configured to suppress a boiling of the first heat exchange medium flowing in an upstream part, in a flow direction of the supercharged intake air, of the first heat exchange portion.

摘要: An exhaust heat exchanger has a fin disposed in an exhaust passage in which exhaust air flows in a flow direction and having plate portions. The plate portions respectively have a protruding portion that protrudes from the plate portions. When a direction perpendicular to both the flow direction and a direction perpendicular to the flow direction is defined as a fin height direction, (i) a protruding amount of the protruding portion in a second site is larger than that in a first site, to which the second site is located on a downstream side of the first site in the flow direction, and (ii) a protruding amount of the protruding portion in a third site is larger than that in a fourth site, to which the fourth site is located away from a center portion of the protruding portion than the third site in the fin height direction.

摘要: An EGR cooler includes a heat exchanging core which has a plurality of tubes, an upstream-side gas tank portion upstream of the tubes and a downstream-side gas tank portion downstream of the tubes. A water tank portion forms a first water passage around the tubes and forms a second water passage around the upstream-side gas tank portion. A double pipe portion forms a gas passage which communicates with the upstream-side gas tank portion and forms an annular water passage which communicates with the second water passage. A water inflow pipe is connected to the double pipe portion such that the cooling water flows into the annular water passage, and a water outflow pipe that is connected to the water tank portion such that the cooling water flows out from the first water passage.
