    Abstract: A control apparatus is applicable to a drive system that measures a user's manipulated parameter, and drives a driving unit constituting a mobility device in accordance with a driving quantity determined based on the user's manipulated parameter. The user's manipulated parameter includes at least one of a user's manipulated variable and a user's manipulated setting. In the control apparatus, a storage unit stores at least one mobility parameter that enables the driving quantity to be determined based on the user's manipulated parameter. A parameter acquiring unit acquires parameter information inputted by a user. The parameter information includes at least one of (i) a user's selected at least one mobility parameter and (ii) information related to the user's selected at least one mobility parameter. In the control apparatus, an updating unit updates, based on the parameter information, the at least one mobility parameter stored in the storage unit.

    Abstract: A vehicle-mounted cooling system includes an air-conditioning refrigerant circuit including a refrigerant passage, a compressor, a heat source-side heat exchanger and a use-side heat exchanger, a battery, and a battery cooling unit cooling the battery using the refrigerant. A control device controls a drive state of the compressor in response to an air-conditioning request and a battery cooling request. The control device includes an abnormality determination unit configured to determine whether an abnormality has occurred in the air-conditioning refrigerant circuit, and a control mode change unit configured to perform, under a situation where the battery cooling request has occurred and it is determined that an abnormality has occurred in the air-conditioning refrigerant circuit, a change of a refrigerant-circulation control mode while permitting the battery cooling unit to continuously cool the battery based on the refrigerant, the refrigerant-circulation control mode representing how the refrigerant is circulated in the air-conditioning refrigerant circuit.

    Abstract: A control apparatus for a vehicle includes processing circuitry. The processing circuitry calculates a target torque such that the greater the amount of brake operation is, the smaller the target torque becomes. The processing circuitry controls the drive motor such that the creep torque is smaller when brake operation is being performed by the driver than when the brake operation is not being performed by the driver. The control circuitry controls the brake device such that, when the brake operation is being performed by the driver, the brake torque approaches a target brake torque. The processing circuitry sets a decrease gradient of the creep torque to be smaller than a decrease gradient of the target torque when the brake operation amount is increased under a condition in which the creep torque is being output by the drive motor.

    Abstract: A cooling control device has an inverter control unit that executes switching control of an inverter for driving a rotary electric machine, and a cooling control unit. On condition that the switching control is stopped, if it is judged that a control temperature is below a threshold value thereof, the cooling control unit executes driving and control of a cooling device such as to lower a degree of cooling of a cooling target component below the degree of cooling when it is judged that the control temperature is above the threshold value.     Abstract: A control apparatus for a vehicle determines whether to perform either of a first control and a second control. In the first control, power is transferred between a power supply facility outside a vehicle and a power storage apparatus during stopping of the vehicle. In the second control, power is transferred between a rotating electric machine and the power storage apparatus through an inverter during traveling of the vehicle. In response to the first control, the apparatus performs control of the inverter to set a controlled variable to be equal to or less than a first limit value. In response to the second control, the apparatus performs control of the inverter to set a controlled variable to be equal to or less than a second limit value. The apparatus sets at least either of the first and second limit values to a value suppressing decrease in drivability of the vehicle.

    Abstract: In a starter, current is passed through a solenoid to use the generated electromagnetic force when pushing a pinion gear toward a ring gear, so that the ring gear is engaged with the pinion gear. For this purpose, the starter includes an electromagnetic solenoid, a spring for urging the pinion gear in a direction opposite to that of the electromagnetic solenoid, a connecting member connected to the pinion gear, a stopper for limiting movement of the connecting member to a predetermined position. Being urged by the spring, the pinion gear is disengaged from the ring gear, and the connecting member is retracted to a predetermined position. The starter includes a control circuit that implements control of passing a predetermined current through the solenoid after the disengagement but before retraction of the connecting member to the predetermined position.
