Abstract: A sliding portion of a slider slides on a sliding surface of a base. This slider is biased toward the base by a stabilizer formed by an elastic, small-diameter, rod-shaped member. Specifically, the stabilizer is formed by a center portion, a link portion, a spring portion, and an abutting portion. When the abutting portion abuts an abutting recess of a cover attached over the slider to be biased toward the base, the spring portion plastically deforms about an arc portion. Due to a resulting reaction force, a pressing portion formed by the center portion biases the sliding portion of the slider toward the base. Accordingly, play may be suppressed with a small number of components.

Abstract: An operation apparatus includes: an operation plate on which an operation surface performed by a pressing operation with an operation body; an assembly member assembled with the operation plate; a first elastic member opposite to the operation surface with respect to the operation plate, and between the operation plate and the assembly member to be elastically deformable by a pressing force applied by the operation body; a sensor detecting an elastic deformation changing amount of the first elastic member generated by the pressing operation; a pressing determinator determining whether the pressing operation is performed based on a detection value of the sensor; and a second elastic member between the operation plate and the assembly member to be elastically deformable with the first elastic member by the pressing force. The first and second elastic members are arranged to enable the pressing force applied serially.

Abstract: A rotation state detection device is applied to an operation device having a rotating body that rotates in response to an input of an operation force, and a supporting body that supports the rotating body rotatably. The rotation state detection device includes: a first electrode arranged at the rotating body; and a second electrode arranged at the supporting body and generating a capacitance with the first electrode. The first electrode and the second electrode are arranged to vary the capacitance periodically each time the rotating body rotates by a predetermined angle and make a shape of a capacitance waveform representing a change in the capacitance to be different. A rotational angle of the rotating body is calculated based on the number of periodic times the capacitance varies, and a rotational direction of the rotating body is determined based on the shape of the capacitance waveform.

Abstract: A manipulation apparatus that generates a manipulation reaction force on a manipulation knob by energizing a coil disposed between a coil-side yoke and a magnet. A permanent magnet is disposed on a contact portion for a housing of a knob base on which the manipulation knob is mounted. An electromagnet is disposed on a support portion of the housing that supports the contact portion. The electromagnet is energized to generate a repulsive force between the support portion and the contact portion. This reduces a friction force exerted between the support portion and the contact portion.
