Abstract: In a heat exchange unit, a shutter device is disposed on a vehicle front side with respect to a coolant heat exchanger to open and close a passage for traveling air directed toward the coolant heat exchanger. A blower is switchable between a first blowing state in which air flows from the vehicle front side to the vehicle rear side and a second blowing state in which air flows from the vehicle rear side to the vehicle front side. In a case where a switch that makes a vehicle travelable is in an on state, a control unit switches the blower to the second blowing state, while an open degree of the shutter device is set at a closing side from a maximum open degree of the shutter device when a temperature of the engine coolant is equal to or lower than a predetermined temperature determination value.

When there is a heat discharge request from the second thermal circuit, the heat control device includes a determination unit configured to determine an amount of operation of each of a plurality of units which are used to discharge heat such that the heat discharge request is satisfied and the sum of power consumption values of the plurality of units is minimized.

Abstract: An airflow control system includes an air blower and an outlet door. The air blower is disposed on a front side in a vehicle traveling direction with respect to an inside of a cabin and disposed inside an engine compartment that houses a propulsion engine. The outlet door opens and closes an air outlet through which an air flow from an inside of the engine compartment is blown to another area on a rear side in the vehicle traveling direction with respect to the engine compartment. The air blower blows an air flow containing exhaust heat of the propulsion engine to the other area through the air outlet while the air outlet is opened by the outlet door.

Abstract: An air conditioner ECU transmits a communication message in a format for controlling a stepper motor. Since a stepper motor and a DC motor are controlled by a communication message in respective predetermined formats, the DC motor cannot be controlled with the communication message transmitted by the air conditioner ECU. Therefore, the sub ECU relays the communication message transmitted by the air conditioner ECU and drives the actuator. The sub ECU converts the communication message transmitted by the air conditioner ECU into control information corresponding to a predetermined format of each actuator and drives each actuator based on the converted control information.
