Abstract: A heater unit emits radiation heat caused by heat generated with a heat generation unit when energized. The heater device includes a contact detection unit having a contact detection region overlying the heater unit to detect a contact by an object on the contact detection region. The heater device includes a determination unit to determine, when a contact by the object on the contact detection region is detected by the contact detection unit, whether the contact is for a predetermined switching operation. A control unit stops energization of the heat generation unit when the determination unit determines that the contact is not for the predetermined switching operation. The control unit switches between a start and a stop of energization of the heat generation unit when the determination unit determines that the contact is for the switching operation.

Abstract: An airflow control system includes an air blower and an outlet door. The air blower is disposed on a front side in a vehicle traveling direction with respect to an inside of a cabin and disposed inside an engine compartment that houses a propulsion engine. The outlet door opens and closes an air outlet through which an air flow from an inside of the engine compartment is blown to another area on a rear side in the vehicle traveling direction with respect to the engine compartment. The air blower blows an air flow containing exhaust heat of the propulsion engine to the other area through the air outlet while the air outlet is opened by the outlet door.

Abstract: An air flow control system includes a forming portion, an outside air introduction door, and an air controller. The forming portion forms a front side communication port that communicates between the interior of the vehicle cabin and an engine compartment disposed on the front side in a vehicle traveling direction with respect to the interior of the vehicle cabin and accommodating a traveling engine. The outside air introduction door opens or closes an outside air introduction port to introduce an air flow from an outside of a vehicle cabin into the interior of the vehicle cabin. The air controller controls the outside air introduction door to open the outside air introduction port, and causes the air flow, introduced from the outside of the vehicle cabin into the interior of the vehicle cabin via the outside air introduction port with travel of the vehicle, to be blown from the interior of the vehicle cabin into the engine compartment through the front side communication port.

Abstract: In a heat exchange unit, a shutter device is disposed on a vehicle front side with respect to a coolant heat exchanger to open and close a passage for traveling air directed toward the coolant heat exchanger. A blower is switchable between a first blowing state in which air flows from the vehicle front side to the vehicle rear side and a second blowing state in which air flows from the vehicle rear side to the vehicle front side. In a case where a switch that makes a vehicle travelable is in an on state, a control unit switches the blower to the second blowing state, while an open degree of the shutter device is set at a closing side from a maximum open degree of the shutter device when a temperature of the engine coolant is equal to or lower than a predetermined temperature determination value.

Abstract: This vehicle air-conditioning system is provided with a preliminary operation control means which activates preliminary operation equipment in response to a planned-boarding signal. The preliminary operation control means provides preparatory control which precedes basic control. An air-flow switching control means drives a blower motor for just a prescribed short time period, and stops the blower motor. An air-outlet switching control means sets an air outlet in a position other than a face blowing position, and stands by. A compressor control means drives a compressor for just a prescribed short time period, and stops the compressor.
