Abstract: An alert control apparatus that notifies a driver in advance of a transfer of control relating to a driving operation from an automatic driving function to the driver by controlling an alert device mounted on a vehicle, which is equipped with the automatic driving function, includes: an estimator that estimates an occurrence of a change execution situation that requires a lane change under a condition in which the driving operation of the vehicle is controlled by the automatic driving function; a determiner that determines a level of difficulty of lane change control based on a plurality of travel environment factors in the change execution situation; and a notification device that notifies the driver of a possibility of the transfer of the control together with a reason of the transfer of the control with a notification mode corresponding to the level using the alert device.

Abstract: An inter-vehicle management apparatus acquires scene information about a driving scene of a host vehicle, estimates the driving scene based on the scene information acquired, acquires behavior information about a driving behavior of the host vehicle driven by the user, determines a driving risk of the host vehicle driven by the user, based on the driving scene estimated and on the behavior information acquired, and controls a presentation of assist information by an information presentation unit in order to prompt the user to address the driving risk. When the driving scene estimated represents a follow-up traveling state of the host vehicle following the preceding vehicle, the assist information to be presented by the information presentation unit is selected based on a magnitude of the driving risk determined before the operation by an emergency control unit.

Abstract: An automatic driving proposal device or an automatic driving proposal method is used for a vehicle that selects either a state of an automatic driving or a state of a manual driving by an occupant. The automatic driving proposal device or the automatic driving proposal method performs a driving change request to the occupant in the state of the automatic driving, determines whether the automatic driving is possible in the state of the manual driving, calculates a calculation value corresponding to a distance or a prediction time or calculates a change index, and proposes the automatic driving to the occupant on a necessary condition of determining that the automatic driving is possible and also determining that the calculation value is higher than a threshold value or determining that the change index is lower than a threshold value.

Abstract: A vehicle display control device, which controls a display of sensor information on a display unit corresponding to each external sensors, includes an opening detection unit, an image storage unit, and an opening control unit. The vehicle is equipped with the display unit and the external sensors detecting outside obstacles. The opening detection unit detects an opening command made by a user to the vehicle. The image storage unit stores a vehicle image indicating the vehicle and area images indicating detection areas of the sensors. The obstacle is detectable within the detection areas. In response to a detection of the opening command by the opening detection unit, the opening control unit reads the vehicle image and each area image from the image storage unit, and displays the readout images on the display unit as the sensor information during an opening period.
