Abstract: A seal ring of a valve element includes a one-end joint forming portion and an other-end joint forming portion. The one-end joint forming portion includes a one-end first contact portion and a one-end second contact portion located on one side of the one-end first contact portion in an axial direction and extending in a circumferential direction beyond the one-end first contact portion. The other-end joint forming portion includes an other-end first contact portion and an other-end second contact portion located on the other side of the other-end first contact portion in the axial direction and extending in the circumferential direction beyond the other-end first contact portion. An inner diameter of the seal ring when the one-end first contact portion separates from the other-end second contact portion is less than an outer diameter of the valve element.

Abstract: A valve body has a substantially disk shape and is provided in a gas passage. A shaft supports the valve body so as to be rotatable in the gas passage. A groove portion is provided at an outer edge portion of the valve body on an outer side in a radial direction so as to extend in a circumferential direction of the valve body. A seal ring is formed in an annular shape, has a separated portion as a cut in a part in the circumferential direction, and is fitted in the groove portion of the valve body. At least one of one end surface in a circumferential direction and the other end surface in the circumferential direction of the seal ring is a inclined surface that is inclined so as to guide a foreign matter accumulated in a gap of the separated portion to an outside of the gap.

Abstract: A valve is configured to control an opening in a passage. A valve angle sensor is configured to send an electric signal according to a rotation angle of the valve. In a storing process, an actual measurement value of a valve angle at a mechanical full open position is stored as an actual full open valve angle. In a first setting process, a first output value at a mechanical full close position is set. In a second setting process, a second output value at the stored actual full open valve angle is set. The output characteristic is set as an angle to output value relation according to the first output value and the second output value.

Abstract: A power transmission mechanism of an accelerator device includes a first power transmission member, a second power transmission member, a coupling elastic member, and an actuator lever, and applies a reaction force to a pedal lever via the first power transmission member, the second power transmission member, and the actuator lever using a driving force of a drive source. The first power transmission member has a first stopper, and the driving force is transmitted to the first power transmission member. The second power transmission member has a second stopper that comes into contact with the first stopper. The first stopper and the second stopper are separated from each other in an initial state, and when the drive source is energized, and come into contact with each other when the first power transmission member is driven against an elastic force of the coupling elastic member by energizing the drive source.

Abstract: A composite seal ring has a resin seal ring and a metal spring. The resin seal ring is attached in an outer peripheral groove of a valve that opens and closes a passage by a rotational displacement, and the resin seal ring seals between an inner wall of a passage portion that forms the passage and the valve, in the fully closed state of the valve. A metal spring is circularly disposed within a radial width of the resin seal ring. The spring is configured to press the resin seal ring radially outwardly and radially inwardly due to the pressure acting on the resin seal ring or a deformation of the resin seal ring.

Abstract: A valve member is movably provided in a fluid passage to open or close the same. A seal ring is movably assembled to a valve-side annular groove formed in an outer peripheral portion of the valve member. A fluid escape portion is formed on a downstream-side ring surface of the seal ring. A recessed portion is formed as the fluid escape portion and located at a radial-inside position of a sealing surface portion, which is a part of the downstream-side ring surface and tightly in contact with a downstream-side groove surface of the valve-side annular groove when the valve member is moved to a valve closed position. Fluid flows from an upstream side to a downstream side through the fluid escape portion when the valve member is moved to a valve opened position, so that the seal ring is prevented from coming out from the valve-side annular groove.
