    Abstract: A battery control device incorporated in a battery system including a battery pack with a plurality of unit cells connected in series and a temperature sensor attached to a predetermined unit cell of the plurality of unit cells. In the battery control device, an integrated amount calculator calculates an integrated amount of current flow since start of current conduction through the battery pack. A temperature acquirer acquires a temperature of the predetermined unit cell detected by the temperature sensor as a temperature of each of the plurality of unit cells on a condition that the integrated amount of current flow calculated by the integrated amount calculator is smaller than a predetermined value.

    Abstract: A controller for a system includes a first control section and a second control section. The system includes an electrical actuator, a switch switching the electrical actuator between a power supply state and a power cutoff state, and a drive section driving the switch. The drive section outputs, to the switch, a drive signal to drive the switch based on a command signal for switching of the switch. The first control section determines a switch state based on the command signal, and the second control section determines a switch state based on the drive signal. At least one of the first control section and the second control section determines the electrical actuator to be in the power supply state on the condition that the first control section determines the switch to be in the power supply state, and the second control section also determines the switch to be in the power supply state.

    Abstract: A control device comprises an acquisition unit that acquires a current to or from the battery and a voltage of a battery, a calculation unit that calculates an internal resistance of the battery based on the current and the voltage when the regenerative power generation is performed by a rotary electric machine, and a permission determination unit that determines whether to permit an automatic stop of an engine depending on whether restarting of the engine is enabled based on power running drive of the rotary electric machine. The calculation unit calculates a value of the internal resistance each time the regenerative power generation or the power running drive is performed before the engine enters an automatic stop state. The permission determination unit determines whether to permit the automatic stop based on a latest value of the internal resistance among values of the internal resistance calculated by the calculation unit.

    Abstract: A battery pack includes a secondary battery, a state of charge calculator, an integrated current amount calculator, a differential state of charge calculator, a full charge capacity calculator, and a charging-and-discharging control section. The differential state of charge calculator calculates a differential state of charge between a first state of charge at a first detection timing and a second state of charge at a second detection timing. The integrated current amount calculator calculates an integrated amount of a current flowing to the secondary battery in a subject period from the first detection timing to the second detection timing. The full charge capacity calculator calculates a full charge capacity of the secondary battery based on the differential state of charge and the integrated current amount. The charging-and-discharging control section is configured to restrict one of the charging and the discharging of the secondary battery during the subject period.
