    摘要: In a method for configuring a Software Defined Radio (SDR) capable user equipment, the SDR capable user equipment wirelessly loads an SDR program from a radio access network. The SDR capable user equipment executes the loaded SDR program, the SDR program on execution configuring the SDR capable user equipment to support a desired wireless communication technology. The SDR capable user equipment loads the SDR program using a dedicated SDR configuration channel, the dedicated SDR configuration channel being disjoint with any communication channel defined by the desired wireless communication technology. The SDR capable user equipment scans a predetermined frequency spectrum searching a broadcasted beacon. The SDR capable user equipment receives the broadcasted beacon and tunes to the dedicated SDR configuration channel or a subchannel thereof pointed to by a pointer for loading the SDR program.

    摘要: A method for controlling the access of a User Equipment (UE) to a public land mobile network (PLMN), the PLMN providing at least a service, the PLMN having at least one network cell, a control channel being broadcast within the network cell, includes: transmitting a barring factor information to the UE on the broadcast control channel within the network cell; transmitting a barring scaling information to the UE on a control channel independently of the barring factor information; and realizing, based on a combination of the barring factor information and the barring scaling information, an access control to the service with regard to the UE by deciding whether a specific access request of the UE to the service is accepted or rejected. The barring scaling information is individually assigned to the UE on a per-UE basis and the barring scaling information is defined by the PLMN for selectively controlling access of each UE to the PLMN.

    摘要: An automation control system wirelessly controls a safety function of a remote machine. The automation control system comprises a base station and a control receiver. The base station is configured to transmit a control signal for controlling the safety function using a first transmit signal of a first safety channel, and to transmit the control signal using a second transmit signal of a second safety channel. The control receiver comprises: a processor configured to extract a first received version of the control signal from the first received transmit signal, and to extract a second received version of the control signal from the second received transmit signal; and an electrical interface which is connectable with an electrical interface of the machine for controlling the safety function of the machine based on the first received version of the control signal and the second received version of the control signal.
