摘要： A switch for controlling energization of a signal device, such as an electric light, the switch having an actuator arm which is movable to any one of three positions. In one position of the actuator, current flow to the signal device is interrupted; in a second position of the actuator, uninterrupted current flows to the signal device so that the latter is energized in a steady manner; and in a third position of the actuator, current flows intermittently to the signal device so that the latter may act as an emergency indicator.

摘要： A METHOD AND MEANS FOR PURIFYING WATER AND WATERBASE LIQUIDS WHEREBY A CONTROLLED AMOUNT OF ALTERNATING ELECTRICAL CURRENT IS PASSEDD THROUGH THE LIQUID TO DESTROY ALL FORMS OF PLANT AND ANIMAL LIFE THEREIN, THEREBY PURIFYING THE SAME. A HOLLOW HOUSING IS UTILLIZED AND HAS AN ELONGATED TERMINAL PROVIDED THEREIN WHICH IS ELECTRICALLY CONNECTED TO A SOURCE OF ELECTRICAL ENERGY. THE HOUSING IS GROUNDED AND IS COVERED WITH AN INSULATIVE MATERIAL. LIQUID IN THE HOUSING WILL ACT AS A CONDUCTOR BETWEEN THE TERMINAL AND THE GROUNDED HOUSING THEREBY CAUSING ELECTRICAL CURRENT TO FLOW THERETHROUGH WHICH CAUSES THE LIQUID TO BE PURIFIED.

摘要： An improved auger-like device for boring holes in the earth comprising an elongated, rod-shaped brace member having a handle at one end and a U-shaped portion adjacent the handle suitable for rotative movement about the longitudinal axis of the brace. A cylindrical bit member having a sidewall which defines an open interior, is attached to an end of the brace. The bit member includes a plurality of teeth integral therewith and depending outwardly from its sidewall and spaced around the circumference thereof. The teeth include a plurality of inclined driving teeth interposed between longitudinally extending cutting teeth.
