摘要: Curable silicone elastomer compositions having enhanced adhesive properties with respect to a wide variety of substrates are described. The compositions described herein are provided with a phenylmethylpolysiloxane based additive which comprises at least one, alternatively at least two Si—H groups per molecule and at least one, alternatively at least two epoxide functional groups per molecule. Said phenylmethylpolysiloxane based additives provide resulting elastomers with improved heat-humidity stabilization.

A method of preparing the silicone-polyether copolymer comprising reacting a polyether compound and an organosilicon compound in the presence of a hydrosilylation-reaction catalyst. A sealant is also disclosed, the sealant comprising the silicone-polyether copolymer and a condensation-reaction catalyst.

摘要: A composition for forming a silicone elastomer is disclosed. The composition comprises: A) a linear organopolysiloxane having at least two silicon-bonded ethylenically unsaturated groups per molecule; B) a linear organohydrogensiloxane having at least two silicon-bonded hydrogen atoms per molecule; C) at least one cross-linker; and D) a hydrosilylation catalyst. The cross-linker C) is selected from the group consisting of: C1) an organopolysiloxane having at least three silicon-bonded ethylenically unsaturated groups per molecule; and C2) an organopolysiloxane having at least three silicon-bonded hydrogen atoms per molecule. At least one of the silicon-bonded ethylenically unsaturated groups of component C1) has a lower reactivity relative to the silicon-bonded ethylenically unsaturated groups of component A). Moreover, at least one of the silicon-bonded hydrogen atoms of component C2) has a lower reactivity relative to the silicon-bonded hydrogen atoms of component B). Methods of forming three-dimensional (3D) articles utilizing the compositions are also disclosed.

A silicone-polyether-urethane copolymer formed therewith, as well as a method of preparing the silicone-polyether-urethane copolymer, are also disclosed. 摘要: Described herein are methods for making alkenyl disiloxanes, comprising combining an alkenyl halosilane with a bis-hydrido terminated alkyl disiloxane and adding the mixture to water, an acidic aqueous solution, or a basic aqueous solution. The ratio of the alkenyl halosilane to the bis-hydrido terminated alkyl disiloxane is about 1:10 to about 10:1. The alkenyl halosilane and bis-hydrido terminated alkyl disiloxane are mixed at about 20° C. to about 45° C. In an example, no organic solvent is present. The reaction product is separated and washed with saturated NaHCO3 solution (e.g., sodium bicarbonate).

摘要: A multifunctional organosilicon compound is provided which has the general formula XSi([OSiR2]p-0-SiR2Y)a(R1)3-a— ln the formula, X is selected from H and ethylenically un saturated moieties; each Y independently comprises a functional moiety selected from alkoxysilyl moieties, acryloxy moieties, and epoxide moieties; each R is an independently selected hydrocarbyl group; each R1 is an independently selected hydrocarbyl group; subscript a is 1, 2, or 3; and each subscript b is independently 0, 1, or 2. A method of preparing the multifunctional organosilicon compound is also provided. The method comprises reacting (A) an organosilanol compound and (B) a silane compound having at least two hydrolysable groups. A functionalized siloxane compound prepared from the multifunctional organosilicon compound, a method of preparing the functionalized siloxane compound, and an adhesive comprising the functionalized siloxane compound are also provided.
