    摘要: A pixel driving method is provided. The driving method includes selecting subpixels from different frame periods with different selecting modes in order to form a pixel array, and driving the pixel array. Different pixel arrays that are formed with subpixels selected from different frame periods are shifted by a distance of one subpixel along the row direction, the column direction, or both directions from each other. Thus, the image resolution of a display panel is improved.

    摘要: A reflective type liquid crystal micro display panel is provided. The display panel comprises, an active component array substrate, a pixel electrode layer, an opposite substrate, a common electrode layer, two inorganic alignment films and a negative dielectric anisotropic liquid crystal layer. The pixel electrode layer is disposed over the active component array substrate. The opposite substrate is opposite to the active component array substrate. The common electrode layer is disposed over the opposite substrate. The two inorganic alignment films are disposed over the pixel electrode layer and the common electrode layer respectively. The negative dielectric anisotropic liquid crystal layer is disposed between the two inorganic alignment films, and is aligned parallel to the inorganic alignment films. The reflective type liquid crystal micro display panel has the advantages of low cost and high performance of display.

    摘要: An optical projection system comprising a light source, a beam splitter module, a plurality of spatial light modulators, an optical combiner module and a projection lens is provided. The light source is used for providing a first white light. The beam splitter module is disposed in the light path of the first white light to separate the first white light into a plurality of second white lights. The spatial light modulators are disposed in the light paths of the second white lights respectively. Each spatial light modulator comprises a color filter to modulate each second white light into a color light carrying with corresponding color image signal. The optical combiner module is disposed in the light paths of the color lights to combine the color lights. The projection lens is disposed in the light path of the combined color lights after the optical combiner module to project the combined color light to be an image.

The liquid crystal layer is disposed between the color mirror and the transparent electrode.

    摘要: A reflective liquid crystal on silicon panel (reflective LCOS panel) for polarizing a light beam and converting the light beam into an image is provided. The reflective LCOS panel includes a silicon substrate, an opposite substrate, a liquid crystal layer and a polarizer. The silicon substrate has a pixel array thereon. The opposite substrate is disposed over the silicon substrate and has a transparent electrode thereon. The liquid crystal layer fills up the space between the pixel array of the silicon substrate and the transparent electrode of the opposite substrate. The polarizer is set up on the silicon substrate or the opposite substrate. As described above, the integration of the polarizer with the reflective LCOS panel inside a projection apparatus can effectively reduce the cost, volume and weight of the projection apparatus.
