    摘要: Computer-readable media, methods, and systems are disclosed for scheduling a start time and a shutdown time of one or more online resources associated with a multi-cloud resource scheduler. A request from a first user is received to access a multi-cloud resource scheduler associated with one or more online resources. Responsive to the request from the first user, credentials of the first user are validated prior to providing access to the multi-cloud resource scheduler. Based upon validating the credentials of the first user, access to the multi-cloud resource scheduler is provided. Instructions are received from the first user to schedule a start time and a shutdown time of at least one online cloud resource connected to the multi-cloud resource scheduler. An availability of the at least one online cloud resource is established for access by a second user based on the instructions.

    摘要: Disclosed are systems, methods and computer-readable media for controlling and managing the identification and provisioning of resources within an on-demand center as well as the transfer of workload to the provisioned resources. One aspect involves creating a virtual private cluster within the on-demand center for the particular workload from a local environment. A method of managing resources between a local compute environment and an on-demand environment includes detecting an event associated with a local compute environment and based on the detected event, identifying information about the local environment, establishing communication with an on-demand compute environment and transmitting the information about the local environment to the on-demand compute environment, provisioning resources within the on-demand compute environment to substantially duplicate the local environment and transferring workload from the local-environment to the on-demand compute environment. The event can be a threshold or a triggering event within or outside of the local environment.

    摘要: Systems and methods for identifying a mapping solution for a virtual network request are disclosed. A resource orchestrator may receive a virtual network request specifying resources required on physical nodes in a network and generate a mapping solution for the request. Generating the mapping solution may include identifying vertices at which a first resource is available, mapping each identified vertex to the first resource in a respective candidate chaining solution, determining, for each identified vertex, a number of messages including the candidate chaining solution to be forwarded to respective neighbor vertices, and forwarding the determined number of messages to the respective neighbor vertices. Determining the number of messages to be forwarded may include applying a message forwarding policy to reduce the total number of messages forwarded between vertices when generating the mapping solution. The policy may be dependent on the topology of the virtual network request.

    摘要: A resource stack managed by a resource stack provider is created based on a resource stack template that integrates a custom resource from a second provider into the resource stack using a notification system with the second provider. For example, a customer may create a template that defines a resource stack that comprises resources available from the resource stack provider and one or more custom resources provided by a second provider. When a resource stack is created, resources available from the resource stack provider may be provisioned. Custom resources may be initialized by notifying the provider of the custom resource of the requested integration of the custom resource with the resource stack and requested configuration details. The custom resource provider may respond with an indication of successful integration when the custom resource has been successfully initialized. After initializing the resources, the resource stack may be enabled for use.
