    摘要: Described herein are systems and methods for single-step direct activation of telecommunication services for a mobile device. One embodiment of the disclosure of this application is related to a system comprising a transceiver receiving product information from a mobile device and receiving service plan information from the mobile device, and a server verifying availability of service for the mobile device based on at least one of the product information and the service plan information, and activating telecommunication service with the mobile device. The received product information including an international mobile equipment identity (“IMEI”) number received from an IMEI trigger event and an international mobile subscriber identity (“IMSI”) number received from a pre-provisioned subscriber identity module (“SIM”) component. The server accesses a national SIM manager (“NSM”) database, wherein the NSM includes pre-populated pairing of IMSI numbers with corresponding integrated circuit card identification (“ICCID”) numbers, and the server further retrieves a corresponding ICCID number for the IMSI of the mobile device and including the corresponding ICCID number with the product information.

    摘要: Field testing, performance monitoring, and resource management are performed via a communications device, automatically and autonomously, without user intervention. Abnormal conditions are automatically detected while the communications device is performing a service and adjustments are automatically made to network resources in order to improve service performance. Upon initiation of a request for service (e.g., IM, MMS, SMS, etc.), the communications device automatically begins to monitor the performance of the service session (e.g., send time, receive time, etc.). During or after the service session, the communications device stores the performance data associated with the performance of the service. The performance data is analyzed in accordance with a subscriber's user profile information, to detect any problems with the service. If problems are detected, necessary adjustments and/or reallocation of resources are made automatically and autonomously, without user intervention.

    摘要: A low cost mechanism that may be used to extend Ethernet capability to low end devices provides sufficient capacity to support Ethernet communications using only a single twisted pair medium. Because only a single twisted pair is used, the overall cost, complexity and size associated with the integrating Ethernet functionality into an end device is reduced. A distributed power system delivers power to a Data Terminal Equipment (DTE) device over the single twisted pair medium. With such an arrangement, Ethernet capability and power may be simultaneously delivered to low end devices at a reduced cost.

    摘要: A method of patterning a substrate comprises providing an array of resist features defined by a first pitch and a first gap width between adjacent resist features. Particles are introduced into the array of resist features, wherein the array of resist features becomes hardened. The introduction of particles may cause a reduction in critical dimension of the resist features. Sidewalls are provided on side portions of hardened resist features. Subsequent to the formation of the sidewalls, the hardened resist features are removed, leaving an array of isolated sidewalls disposed on the substrate. The sidewall array provides a mask for double patterning of features in the substrate layers disposed below the sidewalls, wherein an array of features formed in the substrate has a second pitch equal to half that of the first pitch.
