    摘要: A method to enhance solubility of an active compound comprises combining an active compound, having an aqueous solubility that is less than or equal to about 10 mg/mL, and an amount of methoxypolyethylene glycol that is sufficient to increase the aqueous solubility of the active compound. Enhancement of aqueous solubility for this combination may be significantly greater than that of an active compound in combination with an equivalent amount of polyethylene glycol. Particularly enhanced solubility is shown where a small amount of water is also included. The invention may be used in a wide variety of applications, such as for pharmaceutical, agricultural, antimicrobial, and personal care products.

    摘要: A vehicle is provided with a seat oriented in a passenger compartment forward of a storage compartment. The seat has a seat back that is pivotally connected to a body of the vehicle. The seat back is pivotable between a seating position and a storage position. A battery is disposed within the storage compartment. A tray is removably connected to the vehicle body in either one of a first and a second position. The tray is elevated from the battery within the storage compartment in the first position. The tray is connected to the vehicle body such that it is contiguous with and forward of the battery in the second position. A flat load floor is formed by the top surface of a housing of the battery together with the tray.

    摘要: A single use reminder device (100) has a tamperproof housing which contains a counter circuit and a power supply. The device includes a status indicator (106) for indicating when a date or time period has elapsed. The device also includes a button (104) can be depressed so as to activate the status indicator (106). A traffic light LED system is operated, whereby a red signal is shown by the status indicator (106) if the date or time has elapsed, and whereby an amber signal is shown if the elapse date or time is imminent. A similar device comprises a laminated card structure having a portion, which can be pressed to provide status information via an LCD.

    摘要: A chelating composition suitable for low-temperature use or storage is disclosed.
