    摘要: A method of fabricating polymer single nanowires, comprising the steps of: spin coating a polymethylmethacrylate resist onto a silicon wafer patterned with at least one gold electrode pair; creating a nanochannel using e-beam lithography between each pair of the at least one gold electrode pairs; placing the silicon wafer into an aniline monomer polymerization solution; reacting the polymerization solution to give a coated wafer and a polyaniline film; and cleaning the coated wafer of polymethylmethacrylate resist and polyaniline film to give at least one gold electrode pair with a connecting polymer single nanowire.

    摘要: Systems and methods for imaging and analyzing a patient heart are described. Imaging can be performed with a variety or combination of methods, including single photon emission computed tomography, to provide a comprehensive, three-dimensional image or model of the heart including high-resolution details relating to scar tissue and other abnormalities. Data, including information related to the heart developed through the imaging process, can be analyzed to determine if a patient is a desirable candidate for cardiac resynchronization therapy. Specific details relating to a cardiac resynchronization therapy device and a procedure for implantation can be developed through analysis of available information. A heart model and “virtual roadmap” can be generated to guide a medical practitioner through patient-individualized procedures related to the specific details gleaned through analysis.

    摘要: A method and a system for producing images of a subject, such as the heart of a human being. The method may comprise acquiring ultrasound images of the subject with a catheter comprising a position sensor. The method may also comprise capturing a plurality of 4D surface registration points in the acquired ultrasound images corresponding to points on the subject. The method may also comprise registering, in space and time, a high-resolution 4D model of the subject with the plurality of 4D surface registration points. The method may also comprise displaying high resolution, real-time images of the subject during a medical procedure based on the registration of the high resolution 4D model to the 4D surface registration points. Embodiments of the present invention are especially useful in left atrium ablation procedures.
