    摘要: This invention provides a coated thermoplastic film label comprising a first skin layer comprising a thermoplastic wherein the first skin layer has a first side and a second side, wherein the first skin layer is voided and wherein the first side has an open-cell structure; a core layer comprising a polyolefin, wherein the core layer has a first side and a second side, and the first side of the core layer is adjacent to the second side of the first skin layer; and a second skin layer comprising a polyolefin, wherein the second skin layer has a first side and a second side, the first side of the second skin layer is adjacent to the second side of the core layer, wherein the second side of the second skin layer has a closed-cell structure and wherein the second side is suitable for a surface treatment selected from the group consisting of flame, corona, and plasma treatment; metallization, coating, printing; and combinations thereof, and an inorganic coating on the first side of the first skin layer.

    摘要: A process for producing thermoplastic film which is an antifogging, heat-sealable polypropylene film; the antifogging agent is a polyglycerol ester or a sorbitan ester of a fatty acid. The resultant film, which has good clarity, persistent antifogging characteristics, and excellent heat sealability, is useful for packaging refrigerated foods. The disclosure also provides a process for making the film in which the polypropylene-containing thermoplastic resin is extruded into a sheet with subsequent orientation of said sheet in the longitudinal direction to form a monoaxially oriented film; the film is then oriented in the transverse direction.

    摘要: A slip-coated thermoplastic film is disclosed wherein the slip coating applied is essentially an aqueous wax emulsion. The wax emulsion is preferably applied to a thermoplastic film such as polypropylene between the machine direction and transverse direction stretching process. The resultant slip-coated film has low haze, non-blocking, and consistently low coefficient of friction for good machinability.

    摘要: A thermoplastic film structure comprising a base layer of a thermoplastic resin which comprises polypropylene and a coating layer of a polyvinylidene fluoride is disclosed. The film is characterized by reduced coefficient of friction, improved anti-blocking characteristics, and enhanced oxygen and water vapor barrier properties. The disclosure also provides a process for making the film in which the polypropylene-containing thermoplastic resin is extruded into a sheet, said sheet oriented in the longitudinal direction to form a monoaxially oriented film, said film coated with the polyvinylidene fluoride and said coated film oriented in the transverse direction.
