摘要: The invention provides surface-treated metal oxide particles. The surface-treated metal oxide particles have specific ratios of (1) the integrated area of the resonance signals with chemical shifts in the range from −4 ppm to −33 ppm to the integrated area of the resonance signals with chemical shifts in the range from −33 ppm to −76 ppm and (2) the integrated area of the resonance signals with chemical shifts in the range from −76 ppm to −130 ppm to the integrated area of the resonance signals with chemical shifts in the range from −33 ppm to −76 ppm in the CP/MAS29Si NMR spectrum. The invention further provides a toner composition for electrophotographic image formation comprising toner particles and surface-treated metal oxide particles.

摘要: A streamed database archival process with background synchronization. Archive logs are streamed asynchronously such that a plurality of files can be transferred simultaneously from a host operational database to a backup archive database. By streaming the logs, the backup database is kept up to date and backlogs can quickly be resolved. Furthermore, an automatic recovery process is run in the background. This process automatically detects files on the backup database which may have been accidentally deleted or corrupted. The process recopies those missing or corrupted files from the host database without any human intervention.

摘要: Liquid such as water is deaerated by dissolving stripping gas such as carbon dioxide into the water while maintaining pressure, reducing the pressure, and then feeding the liquid into a vessel wherein a gas space is maintained over said water, wherein the pressure of said gas space is less than the pressure upstream, and separately withdrawing degassed liquid and evolved gas from said vessel at rates which maintain the pressure of said gas space below the pressure upstream of said means.

摘要: A shipping container is constructed for shipping channeled fuel bundle assemblies. The shipping container includes an outer container, an inner container sized to fit within the outer container, and shock absorbing material disposed at least between the outer and inner containers. The inner container is shaped to house at least one pre-channeled fuel bundle assembly including a channel, a channel fastener, and an array of fuel rods supported by grid spacers between an upper tie plate and a lower tie plate. The inner container includes a lower tie plate restraint device shaped to receive the lower tie plate and a lower portion of the channel, and an upper tie plate restraint device shaped to receive the upper tie plate and an upper portion of the channel and channel fastener assembly. The lower and upper tie plate restraint devices are lockable within the inner shipping container.

摘要: Systems and methods may be utilized to obtain and evaluate data from various information resources associated with a diagnostic testing business for the purpose of identifying at-risk clients. A set of risk indicators is defined. Each risk indicator relates to a type of event that is determined to be indicative of client risk, and about which data may be obtained from information resources associated with the testing process. Data is obtained from the various information resources through respective interfaces and is stored in a risk indicator database. A reporting application associated with the risk indicator database applies score generation rules to the risk indicator data associated with each risk indicator to generate a risk score associated with each risk indicator for each client. The risk scores may then be evaluated to identify at-risk clients and to identify systemic problems of the organization that occur across many clients.
