摘要: The invention concerns a method for making continuous coextruded intermingled glass filaments and continuous thermoplastic organic filaments that enable non-spinnable compounds to be incorporated at the thermoplastic filaments. The invention is characterized in that the thermoplastic filaments are obtained by coextrusion of a thermoplastic material acting as core and a thermoplastic material containing at least one non-spinnable compound. The invention also concerns a device for implementing the method. The resulting composite yarn is provided with specific core properties provided by the non-spinnable compounds.

摘要: The thermo-bonding interlining is a nonwoven covered on one face with dots of thermo-bonding resin. According to the invention, the nonwoven is a web, containing no binder or thermo-fusible fibers, whose weight per square meter is between 50 and 150 g, and which is produced from filaments in a thermoplastic material, such as polyester; the mean diameter of the filaments is between 3 and 5 .mu.m, and preferably 90% of the filaments have a diameter comprised between that range; intermingling of the filaments is obtained by streams of high pressure fluid, such as streams of water at pressures of 40 to 80 bars.

摘要: The invention relates to the manufacture of composite sheets having a multiaxial fibrous reinforcement, which involves: forming a unidirectional lap of reinforcing threads, at least 50% by weight of which are co-blended threads consisting of reinforcing filaments and of filaments of an organic material which are intimately mixed, giving the said lap a cohesion allowing it to be lapped, lapping this lap on a support in movement, in a transverse direction in relation to the direction of movement, heating the reinforcing-thread/organic-material assembly, which is displaced in the direction of movement, and setting it by the action of heat, if appropriate by applying pressure, then cooling it to form a composite band, and collecting the said band in the form of one or more composite sheets. The present invention also relates to an apparatus for carrying out the method and to the products obtained.

摘要: A deformable mat of at least one web including at least one reinforcing substance and at least one thermoplastic substance, these substances being in a form of chopped yarns and/or continuous yarns, and the yarns being bonded together so that the mat has an elongation at break in all directions of at least 50% and preferably varying from 100 to 150%. A process for manufacturing the deformable mat forms a web of the yarns, treats the web under conditions allowing the yarns to be moderately bonded, and collects the mat obtained. The mat can be used for manufacturing composite parts by vacuum molding or compression molding.
