摘要:
A diaper containing a liquid pervious topsheet coated with a lotion composition is disclosed. The lotion composition reduces the adherence of BM to the skin of the wearer, thereby improving the ease of BM clean up. The lotion composition comprises a plastic or fluid emollient such as mineral oil or petrolatum, an immobilizing agent such as a fatty alcohol or paraffin wax to immobilize the emollient on the surface of the diaper topsheet, and optionally a hydrophilic surfactant to improve wettability of the coated topsheet. Because the emollient is substantially immobilized on the surface of the topsheet, less lotion is required to impart the desired therapeutic or protective lotion coating benefits.

Aspects of the present disclosure involve absorbent articles having components having printed indicia, and more particularly, web materials having indicia printed with a color palette that exceeds the prior art color palette. Such web materials can be printed during the manufacture of components of absorbent articles. As discussed herein, examples of such printed web materials can be used in the manufacture of printed diaper components, such as for example, backsheets, topsheets, landing zones, fasteners, fastening tabs, ears, absorbent cores, and acquisition layers. The apparatuses and methods discussed herein are also applicable to other types of absorbent articles, such as feminine hygiene products.
摘要:
A three dimensional printed article having a composite image printed thereon is disclosed. The composite image includes top and bottom artwork portions printed on the top and bottom surfaces of the printed article substrate. Both artwork portions are visible through a translucent or transparent substrate, thereby forming a visible composite image. The substrate can be a non-woven web. By printing on both surfaces of the substrate, the three dimensional printed article provides a good quality, aesthetically pleasing three-dimensional image that limits the loss of color and appearance of fuzz during normal use of the article. The three-dimensional printed article allows a more versatile creation of build colors and reduces the number of process colors required to print the composite image. The three-dimensional printed article can be integrated into an absorbent article, such as a diaper. A method of printing the three-dimensional printed article and forming the absorbent article are also disclosed.
摘要:
Fibrous web substrates and a process for printing a series of different graphics in the manufacture of fibrous web substrates, such as tissue and towel products, utilize flexographic printing with endless belts and have graphic repeats of at least about 58 inches. In addition, these substrates have color to color MD registration of less than about 1.5 mm.
