摘要: The invention provides a process for limiting self heating of activated particle catalysts wherein the catalyst particles are placed in motion inside a hot gas flow that passes through them and a liquid composition containing one or several film forming polymer(s) is pulverized onto the particles in motion until a protective layer is obtained on the surface of said particles containing said film forming polymer and having an average thickness of less than or equal to 20 μm. The invention also provides the use of this process to reduce the quantities of toxic gases that may be emitted by the activated catalysts, as well as an activated catalyst for the hydroconversion of hydrocarbons covered with a continuous protective layer that are obtained by this process.

摘要: A process is disclosed for limiting the emissions of gases from a porous material in the form of particles comprising a porous inorganic support and at least 0.1% by weight of one or more compounds chosen from organic compounds, halogen compounds, boron compounds and phosphorus compounds. The particles are placed in motion within a hot gas stream traversing them, and a liquid composition containing one or more film-forming polymer(s) is sprayed over the moving particles by means of a twin-fluid atomization nozzle, in which the liquid composition is mixed with a pressurized gas, with a relative atomization pressure of greater than or equal to 0.7×1005 Pa, until a protective layer containing the film-forming polymer(s) and exhibiting a mean thickness of less than or equal to 20 μm is obtained on the surface of the said particles. A material resulting from this process is also disclosed.

摘要: The present invention provides a method for emptying a reactor containing at least one bed of spent catalyst particles, wherein the reactor comprises at least one dump tube that opens into the reactor. The method comprises the steps of: (a) causing a portion of the bed of spent catalyst particles to flow out of the reactor via the dump tube; and (b) expelling the remainder of the spent catalyst particles from the reactor by driving the remainder of the spent catalyst particles toward the opening of the dump tube using a removable device comprising at least one rotary brush fixed to the end of an articulated arm introduced into the reactor via the dump tube.

摘要: A process for producing hydrogen sulfide from hydrogen and elemental sulfur, comprising: bringing the sulfur into contact with a solid catalyst comprising at least one metal, chosen from metals from groups VIB and VIII of the Periodic Table of the Elements, in metal sulfide form, at a temperature ranging from 120° C. to 160° C.; circulating the mixture of sulfur and catalyst resulting from step (a) in a reaction zone, in which said mixture is brought into contact with hydrogen, the reaction zone having a temperature at the inlet point of the catalyst of greater than or equal to 150° C. and a temperature at the outlet point of the catalyst of less than or equal to 300° C., and a pressure of less than or equal to 3 bar; separating the catalyst and the gaseous effluents containing hydrogen sulfide; and recycling the catalyst to the step of bringing.
