    摘要: An apparatus for mixing and advancing a polymer melt, which includes a mixer and a conveying device. The mixer comprises a tubular mixing shaft (outer shaft) and an inner mixing shaft (inner shaft). The tubular outer shaft is arranged in surrounding relationship with the inner mixing shaft. Both mixing shafts extend in cantilever fashion into a mixing chamber, and a passageway is formed at the front end between the mixing chamber wall and the free end of the outer shaft, so that the mixing chamber is divided into an inner mixing chamber (inner chamber) and an outer mixing chamber (outer chamber), which are interconnected via the passageway. A melt inlet and a melt outlet are arranged in such a manner that the melt flow advances through the inner chamber and the outer chamber in opposite directions.

    摘要: A method for manufacturing electrodynamic machine conductive coils, such as alternating current induction motor stator coils. A continuous strand of insulation coated wire is formed into a generally planar elongated closed loop having a circumference and an outer surface. Thereafter a permanent insulation layer is applied to the closed loop outer surface, preferably by spiral wrapping insulating tape about the circumference of the closed loop with a tape wrapping machine. The insulating tape has a catalytic chemical compound including at least one part of a multi-part epoxy resin. The closed loop is shaped into a rigid conductive coil by application pressure, in order to conform the coil to a desired profile. Application of the permanent insulation layer to the closed loop prior to its final shaping enables machine insulation taping over a larger portion of the coil circumference and reduces need for slower and more expensive hand taping.

    摘要: A method of melt spinning a group of multifilament yarns (1) from a polymer melt, wherein each group of yarns (10) is formed from a plurality of filaments (4) that are extruded through a nozzle bore (3) and withdrawn by a withdrawal means by the action of a withdrawal tension. In accordance with the invention, each group of yarns (10) is cooled in a precooling zone (5) and in an aftercooling zone (6) downstream thereof. The cooling in the precooling zone (5) and in the aftercooling zone (6) is adjusted such that the group of yarns (10) is cooled within the aftercooling zone (6) by the action of a coolant flow directed into the path of the yarn, so that the filaments (4) of the group of yarns (10) solidify in a solidification range within the aftercooling zone (6).

    摘要: A method and an apparatus for melt spinning a multifilament yarn from a thermoplastic material, wherein a spinneret extrudes the thermoplastic material to strandlike filaments, which are initially in liquid form and then cooled to cause their solidification. For purposes of cooling, the filaments are precooled in a cooling zone downstream of the spinneret in such a manner that the filaments do not solidify. Subsequently, the filament bundle advances by the action of a coolant stream directed in the direction of the advancing yarn into a tension zone and undergoes further cooling until the filaments solidify in a solidification zone within the tension zone. To maintain the location of the solidification zone within the tension zone in a predetermined desired range thereof, an adjustable cooling of the filaments within the cooling zone is provided.

    摘要: A method and an apparatus for producing a highly oriented yarn (HOY) wherein the yarn is withdrawn from the nozzle of a spinneret at a withdrawal speed of at least 6,500 m/min. The filaments forming the yarn are drawn during their solidification, so that a highly oriented molecular structure forms in the polymer. To withstand the withdrawal tension generated by the high withdrawal speed without overstressing the filaments, the filaments are assisted in their advance before they solidify such that prior to the solidification a tensile stress relief is effective on the filaments, and that during the solidification a reduced withdrawal tension is effective on the filaments while they are drawn.
