    摘要： Disclosed herein is a carboxylic ester dispersant shown in the following Formula 1 and a sulfide phosphor paste composition containing the dispersant. The dispersant improves the dispersibility of the sulfide phosphor paste composition and prevents oxidation by a solvent, thus improving processability and the luminescent properties of a phosphor film made from the paste and of a display produced using the film. In Formula 1, n is 1-20.

    摘要： A photoluminescent liquid crystal display includes a lower substrate and an upper substrate disposed apart from each other opposite each other, a liquid crystal layer interposed between the lower and upper substrates, a backlight unit disposed under the lower substrate and emitting blue light, a phosphor layer disposed on the upper substrate and excited by the blue light and a color filter layer disposed on the phosphor layer and limiting excitement of the red and green phosphors by ambient light. The phosphor layer includes a red phosphor disposed in a red pixel region and a green phosphor disposed in a green pixel region. The color filter layer includes an R filter disposed on the red phosphor and a green filter disposed on the green phosphor.

The plasma display panel includes front and rear substrates facing each other to form a discharge space therebetween, a plurality of address electrodes provided in stripes on an upper surface of the rear substrate, a first dielectric layer provided to cover the address electrodes on the upper surface of the rear substrate, and partitions provided on a upper surface of the first dielectric layer to partition the discharge space. On a lower surface of the front substrate are a plurality of second dielectric layers extending in a direction perpendicular to the address electrodes, each of the second dielectric layers protruding from a lower surface of the front substrate, both sides of each of the second dielectric layers being concavely curved, first and second sustaining electrodes provided to be slanted to face each other on both sides of each of the second dielectric layers, and a third dielectric layer provided on a lower surface of the second dielectric layers to cover the first and second sustaining electrodes.

    摘要： Provided is a flat fluorescent lamp that can emit white light composed of color components with enhanced color purity and/or white light having enhanced brightness and enhanced brightness uniformity. The flat fluorescent lamp includes a front substrate and a rear substrate separated from each other and defining a discharge space therebetween, a discharge gas filled in the discharge space and generating a first ultraviolet (UV) light with a wavelength of 260 nm or less by discharge of the discharge gas, at least a pair of electrodes inducing the discharge of the discharge gas, a second phosphor layer disposed on an inner surface of the rear substrate and including a phosphor excited by the first UV light and generating a second UV light having a wavelength of 200 to 400 nm which is longer than the wavelength of the first UV light, and a first phosphor layer disposed on an inner surface of the front substrate and including a phosphor excited by the first UV light and the second UV light and generating a visible light. Provided are also novel UV light-emitting phosphors excited by vacuum UV light and generating UV light.
