摘要: A method for providing system information (SI) performed by a base station (BS) is provided. The method includes: broadcasting a system information block type 1 (SIB1) associated with a cell; receiving, from a user equipment (UE), a first message including a common control channel (CCCH) service data unit (SDU), the CCCH SDU including a radio resource control (RRC) SI request message; and transmitting, to the UE, a medium access control (MAC) control element (CE) including a UE contention resolution identity that matches a portion of the CCCH SDU. The MAC CE enables a MAC entity of the UE to indicate reception of an acknowledgment for the RRC SI request message to an RRC entity of the UE. The SIB1 does not include information related to a Random Access (RA) resource specific to SI requested by the RRC SI request message.

The RRC message may include a plurality of sets of parameters and a plurality of indices corresponding to the plurality of sets of parameters. The method may also include transmitting, by the serving cell, downlink control information (DCI) to the UE indicating an allocated resource block (RB) in a physical downlink shared channel (PDSCH) for the UE and an index corresponding to one of the plurality of sets of parameters to decode the allocated RB.

摘要: A method for wireless communication performed by a user equipment (UE) is provided. The method includes: receiving a master information block (MIB) from a cell, the MIB including a cell barred information element (IE); receiving a system information block type 1 (SIB1) from the cell, the SIB1 including a first non-public network (NPN) identity (ID), a first cell reserved for operator use IE associated with the first NPN ID, and a cell reserved for other use IE; and determining to treat the cell as a candidate cell for cell selection or cell reselection procedures when the cell barred IE is “not barred”, the cell reserved for other use IE is not “true”, the first cell reserved for operator use IE is “reserved”, the first NPN ID matches a registered stand-alone NPN (SNPN) ID of the UE, and an access ID of the UE is 11 or 15.

摘要: A method of sidelink (SL) radio link failure (RLF) control for a first user equipment (UE) and a second UE is disclosed. The method comprises obtaining at least one SL RLF configuration, wherein the SL RLF configuration is associated with at least one SL radio bearer within at least one PC5 RRC connection and includes at least one SL RLF control parameter indicating at least one transmission range for SL communication, selecting, by the first UE, at least one SL RLF control parameter of the SL RLF configuration associated with the PC5 RRC connection, according to a communication distance between the first UE and the second UE and the at least one transmission range indicated by the at least one SL RLF control parameter, and determining, by the first UE, an SL RLF event occurs on the PC5 RRC connection based on the selected SL RLF control parameter.

摘要: Some of the present implementations provide a method for a first user equipment (UE) to exchange sidelink packets with at least a second UE. The method receives, through a first interface and via a radio resource control (RRC) signaling, a sidelink configuration from a first base station during a handover procedure of the first UE to a second base station. The method then exchanges, through a second interface, one or more sidelink packets with the second UE based on the sidelink configuration received from the first base station and previously stored sidelink configuration at the first UE. The first interface is configurable to be one of a long term evolution (LTE) Uu interface and a new radio (NR) Uu interface, and the second interface is configurable to be one of an LTE proximity service (ProSe) sidelink PC5 interface and an NR ProSe sidelink PC5 interface.

摘要: Methods and apparatuses for handling measurement operations in a wireless communication system are provided. A method performed by a User Equipment (UE) includes receiving a first measurement configuration from a first serving cell; performing, in a first Radio Resource Control (RRC) state which is an RRC idle state or an RRC inactive state, a first measurement operation based on the first measurement configuration; generating a first measurement result; receiving a first measurement report request from a second serving cell; retaining the first measurement result after the UE transitions from the first RRC state to a second RRC state which is an RRC connected state; and transmitting the first measurement result to the second serving cell, wherein the first serving cell and the first RRC state are associated with a first Radio Access Technology (RAT) and the second serving cell and the second RRC state are associated with a second RAT.
