Abstract: The present invention provides a pump cartridge, which is directly connected in-line with one or more filter cartridges in a mounting bracket. It may be paired with an accumulator tank for a pump version, and with no accumulator tank for a smart pump version. The inline design reduces the size of the system, the amount of connections, and the amount of hose required to install the system, which in turn reduces the space required for installation, the number of potential leak paths, and the likelihood of failure of the system due to issues with the hose.

Abstract: A pump features: A motor having a front end bell (FEB) with a coupling portion having twist lock style (TLS) connections with locking portions, and an outer surface with a detent; and a pump head (PH) including a PH portion having a PH coupling portion with corresponding TLS connections and corresponding locking portions with locking stops. The PH portion has an outer surface having a threaded orifice. The TLS connections couple together when the FEB and PH coupling portions are pushed together. The locking portions engage when the FEB and PH coupling portions twist together about the longitudinal axis of the pump. The locking stops abut against the locking portions to stop the FEB and PH coupling portions from twisting further, so the detent and the threaded orifice align to receive the LP, locking the motor and PH together.

Abstract: A pump has a signal processor, including one forming part of a printed circuit board assembly, that receives signaling containing information about a voltage supplied to a motor to run a particular pump model, and also containing information about whether a current draw of the pump is lower than a predetermined low current level or is higher than a predetermined high current level; and determines whether to shut off the pump after a predetermined time, based on the signaling received. The signal processor provides control signalling to shut off the pump after the predetermined time if the current draw of the pump is lower than the predetermined low current level or is higher than the predetermined high current level, where the predetermined low current level and the predetermined high current level depend on the voltage being supplied to the motor to run the particular pump model.

Abstract: A filter manifold is provided for processing fluid being provided to a fluid dispenser, featuring a new and unique combination of a mounting bracket, a filter cartridge and an accumulator cartridge. The mounting bracket is configured with porting connections. The filter cartridge may include a filter cartridge porting connection configured to plumb into one of the porting connections on the mounting bracket and also configured to filter the fluid being provided to the fluid dispenser. The accumulator cartridge includes an accumulator cartridge porting connection configured to plumb into another one of the porting connections on the mounting bracket and also configured to receive, accumulate and provide the fluid to the filter cartridge to be filtered before being provided to the fluid dispenser.

Abstract: A dispense tap with integral gas/liquid infusion for dispensing a beverage at a given dispensing point inside a restaurant, a coffee shop, a bar, or a convenience store, features a mixing chamber having at least one gas input port configured to receive at least one incoming gas stream; at least one liquid input port configured to receive at least one incoming liquid or concentrate stream; and an infuser configured to mix the at least one incoming gas stream and the at least one incoming liquid or concentrate stream at the given dispensing point within the dispensing tap, and provide a mixing chamber stream containing a gas infused liquid mixture of the at least one incoming gas stream and the at least one incoming liquid or concentrate stream for dispensing as a beverage. The degree of absorption of the at least one incoming gas stream and the at least one incoming liquid or concentrate stream in the gas infused liquid mixture depends at least in part on sensed gas, liquid or concentrate pressure characteristics of one or more of the at least one incoming gas stream received by the infuser, the at least one incoming liquid or concentrate stream received by the infuser, or the gas infused liquid mixture provided from the infuser.

Abstract: A high viscosity portion pump system has a single piston portion pump having a piston/diaphragm assembly arranged on a piston shaft forming liquid and gas chambers, which moves from a starting-position and provides high viscosity fluid from the liquid chamber when gas is received by the gas chamber; has an elastic member arranged on a retainer coupled to the shaft in a compartment in a pump housing, which moves the assembly back to the position and draws further fluid into the liquid chamber when the gas is released; and has a piston position sensor that responds to the position of the shaft and provides signaling containing information about when the assembly is in the position or completed a stroke from the position. A gas control system includes a signal processor that receives the signaling, and provides corresponding signaling containing information about when to provide or release the gas.

Abstract: A pump includes a liquid housing having a liquid chamber with a piston/diaphragm assembly arranged therein that responds to a suction stroke and draws liquid into the liquid chamber, and responds to a pressure stroke and provides liquid from the liquid chamber; and a gas housing having a slide valve assembly separating first and second gas chambers. The slide valve assembly responds to a suction-to-pressure-force at the suction stroke conclusion, changes from a suction-to-pressure stroke state, provides gas from the first to second gas chamber through the slide valve assembly, and provides the pressure stroke so liquid passes from the liquid chamber; and responds to a pressure-to-suction-force at the pressure stroke conclusion, changes from the pressure-to-suction stroke state, provides gas from the second chamber through the slide valve assembly, and provides the suction stroke so liquid is drawn into the liquid chamber.
