    摘要: A multilayer analysis element for determination of total cholesterol is prepared having a light-transmissive water-impermeable support, at least one hydrophilic polymer layer on said support and a spreading layer on said hydrophilic polymer layer(s), and containing in one or more of the layers:(a) at least one enzyme having cholesterol esterase activity,(b) cholesterol oxidase,(c) peroxidase,(d) a color reagent composition, which in the presence of hydrogen peroxide and the peroxidase, produces a color change(e) at least one bile acid compound selected from the group consisting of bile acids, bile acid derivatives and salts of said acids and derivatives, and(f) an alkyl phenoxy polyethoxy ethanol containing in the alkyl group 1 to 20, preferably 7 to 10 carbon atoms, and a polyoxyethylene chain composed of at least 16, preferably 30 to 60 oxyethylene units.

    摘要: A dry-type multilayer analytical element containing a color reagent composition comprising an oxidase specifically reaction with an analyte or derived therefrom to produce hydrogen peroxide, hydrogen peroxide-decomposing enzyme, an alkali metal salt of ferrocyanide and a chromogen which is separated from the hydrogen peroxide-decomposing enzyme, the chromogen being incorporated in a layer nearer to the transparent support of the analytical element than the layer containing the hydrogen peroxide-decomposing enzyme. The analytical element exhibits excellent coloration, color stability, and accuracy and the results are minimally influenced by the presence of hemoglobin in the sample.

    摘要: An integral multilayer analytical element which comprises a water-impermeable light-transmissive support, a hydrophilic layer containing a water-absorptive hydrophilic polymer binder and a spreading layer superposed in this order, and contains at least one reagent capable of reacting with a component of a sample to produce a detectable species capable of detecting by light, which is characterized in that light-scattering particulates in an amount to make light transmittance to 10 to 2.5% are contained in the above hydrophilic layer and/or a layer located on the side of the support therefrom. This element may decrease the influence of a conventional reagent layer up to the extent being negligible without lowering the sensitivity. Precision of the measurement at a low concentration range is also high, and reproducibility of the meaurement is well. Manufacture of this element is easy.

    摘要: An analysis material sheet is disclosed which is comprised of layers of material with strong adhesion for one another. The sheet includes a water-impermeable support having provided directly or indirectly thereon a layer of fabric. The fabric contains a hydrophobic organic polymer fiber and is physically activated on at least one surface thereof, with the physically activated surface being adhered directly or indirectly to the support. A reagent layer can be provided directly or indirectly on the liquid sample-spreading layer of fabric. By utilizing a fabric containing a hydrophobic organic polymer fiber, body fluids to be analyzed can be quickly and uniformly spread and by utilizing the physically activated surface of the fabric, strong adhesion between the layers can be obtained.
