Means are provided for receiving signals representative of armature current and of the mark-space conduction ratio of a motor control thyristor A rise in motor current above a predetermined value, coupled with a decline in mark-space ratio below a predetermined value, causes the disclosed circuit to produce an output signal which is utilized to temporarily limit conduction of the motor control thyristor and procure controlled deceleration.

    摘要: A three-phase system monitoring and control circuit wherein the control circuit has a thyristor in series with a fuse and a relay having contacts in the three-phase system. The thyristor is controlled by a gating circuit having a unijunction transistor oscillator with an RC charging network. A system voltage monitor supplies a charging voltage to the network. If the voltage monitor detects system voltages exceeding a predetermined minimum, the oscillator is triggered. The system current monitor supplies a discharging voltage during improper phase sequence to prevent triggering. Triggering of the oscillator and the subsequent gating of the thyristor indicate there are no lost or reversed phases in the three-phase system.

    摘要: A conversion circuit having polarity sensing wherein an input signal is converted into two signals each of which is the inverse of the other. A pair of switches, arranged to conduct these signals selectively, are connected to an integrator which accumulates the voltage of these signals within predetermined limits set by a pair of comparators. Control logic between the comparators and the switches, together with a third comparator producing a binary signal in response to polarity changes of the input signal, cause alternate conduction of the signals and produce a square wave pulse train having a pulse rate proportional to the absolute magnitude of the input signal.

When those defined tolerable limits are achieved, means are provided for generating and transmitting a control signal to effect connection of the power generator to the operating power line.

    摘要: A control circuit for controlling the effective power to a load from a power source of substantially constant direct current voltage including a first solid state switching device for placing the load and the power source in series. Circuitry including a commutating capacitor chargeable in a first direction, provides that capacitor discharge, initiated by the gating of a second solid state switching device, will terminate conduction of the first switching device. An inductance is provided in series with the load to develop a capacitor voltage in a second direction, related to load current, upon the termination of the conduction period. A series loop is provided including the capacitor, the inductor, and a third solid state switching device to reverse the polarity of the capacitor voltage to the first direction.
