摘要: A system for controlling unauthorized access to information distributed to users and, more particularly, for controlling unauthorized access to software distributed to users is provided. One method utilizing the system of the present invention enables the software to be encrypted using a single encryption key and to be decrypted using a multiplicity of "decryption" keys, each of which is unique to a particular user. The "decryption" keys are the products of numeric representations of identifying information relating to users and unique user keys generated using the numeric representations and a "true" decryption key. Since each user receives a unique user key and both the numeric representation and the user key are generated using the identifying information, if the user reveals the numeric representation and the user key (or the product of the numeric representation and the user key), the numeric representation and the user key can be traced to the user who revealed them. Another method utilizing the system of the present invention introduces randomness or pseudo-randomness into the decryption scheme to provide an additional level of security to the scheme.

摘要: There is described a system for controlling electrical consumers of an electrical installation, comprising in addition to the consumers control and operating elements. The system has means for near field communication, by which data and control commands are transmitted, are assigned to the consumers and the actuation and control elements. The near field communication systems are coupled asymmetrically to electrically conducting infrastructure elements in such a manner that quasi-stationary near field with a high-frequency alternative current is impressed upon the infrastructure.

摘要: The invention relates to a method for releasing a network device of a network system that comprises at least the one network device and at least one server. At least one second identifier that is assigned to a mobile computing device is stored in a database of the server. The method has the steps of detecting a first identifier, which is installed on the network device to be released, using the mobile computing device; transmitting the detected first identifier and a second identifier, which is assigned to the detecting mobile computing device, from the mobile computing device to the server; comparing the transmitted second identifier with the at least one second identifier stored in the database; and releasing the network device by means of the server if the result of the check is positive.

摘要: An air plunger is described. The air plunger comprises an upper barrel and a lower barrel slidably received by the upper barrel. An air seal is fixed to the lower barrel and slidably engages with the upper barrel. A nozzle is attached to the lower barrel opposite to the upper barrel. A stop mechanism prohibits the upper barrel from disassociating with the lower barrel.

摘要: The invention relates to a hearing aid system comprising an input transducer for converting an input sound signal comprising an information signal part of a known waveform and a background noise part to an electrical analogue input signal, optionally an A/D converter for converting the electrical input signal to a digital input signal. The invention further relates to a method of making a critical gain measurement. The object of the present invention is to improve the signal-to-noise ratio of a signal to be measured or detected in a hearing instrument compared to prior art solutions. The problem is solved in that a matched filter receiving said analogue or digital input signal and optimized to improve the identification of the information signal part from the noisy input signal. An advantage of the invention is that it provides an alternative scheme for improving signal to noise ratio of a hearing aid. The invention may e.g. be used for the customization of hearing aid parameters in cooperation with fitting software and/or for improving signal to noise ratio of a detected or measured signal.

摘要: A system for illuminating panels such as advertising display panels is provided. Such illuminated panels include at least one row of point light sources located substantially within the at least one illuminated frame member, a diffusion layer have a diffusion edge facing the at least one row of point light sources, a backscattering layer coupled to a back surface of the diffusion layer, and a dispersion layer coupled to a front surface of the diffusion layer. The diffusion layer has an edge with a surface roughness configured to diffuse light emitted by the at least one row of point light sources. In some embodiments, the light sources are dimmable Luxeon LEDs and can be activated by an infrared sensor. It is also possible to use ultraviolet to blue light sources for the panel and to include a phosphor in the dispersion layer of the panel for converting the ultraviolet to blue light into visible light.
