    摘要: Disclosed are methods for delivering data (212) to a wireless station (102). An access point (104), or any other suitable device or system, receives a plurality of association requests (204) from a plurality of wireless stations (102) and transmits a different association identifier (208) to each of the plurality of wireless stations (102). The access point (104) buffers data (212) for a subset of the wireless stations (102). If the number of wireless stations (102) with buffered data (212) at the access point (104) is less than a threshold, then the access point (104) transmits a list of association identifiers indicating that buffered data (212) are held for each wireless station (102) identified by the list. If the number of wireless stations (102) with buffered data (212) at the access point (104) is not less than the threshold, then the access point (104) transmits data indicative of a range of association identifiers indicating that buffered data (212) are held for at least one wireless station (102) identified by the range.

In one implementation, a common reference time and a set of geographical location coordinates are scanned for by a mobile station. A first beacon region is selected based on the set of geographical location coordinates. A first set of periodic beacon windows is determined based on the first beacon region and the common reference time. A device-to-device beacon transmission is scanned for during a beacon window of the first set of periodic beacon windows.

    摘要: Methods for performing change of primary cell during carrier aggregation operation are described. A mobile station (MS) receives a message to change a primary cell and to perform a random access communication with a new primary cell. Upon receiving a random access response message from the new primary cell, the MS starts transmitting a control channel to the new primary cell. In one embodiment, the MS releases the configuration of an uplink control channel and transmits uplink control information through an uplink shared channel. Upon completion of the primary cell change procedure, the MS starts transmission of an uplink control channel to the new primary cell.

    摘要: A method and apparatus for handover in a wireless communication system. A handover indication can be received from a source base station (120) that is connected with a mobile station (110). The handover indication can include a random access channel preamble. The random access channel preamble can include a temporary mobile equipment identifier. The random access channel preamble can be received from the mobile station. A timing advance message can be sent in response to receiving random access channel preamble. The timing advance message can be addressed by the random access channel preamble and a source base station identifier. The connection with the mobile station can be switched from the source base station to a target base station (130).
