摘要： A high speed apparatus for assembling washers on headed parts such as bolt blanks, wherein individual washers are mechanically positively placed and seated onto individual blanks. The apparatus includes a linear transfer mechanism for progressively shifting the blanks through successive stations at which a washer is first placed on the end of a blank, is then "stuffed" axially along the shank of the blank, and is then positively abutted with the head. Various movements of the washers and blanks are effected by individual servomotors that greatly simplify the complexity of the apparatus, provide timing/stroke flexibility, and independent control.

摘要： A flat die thread rolling machine provides a cam drive for the reciprocating slide which operates through a linkage to cause reciprocation of the slide. The cam provides a dwell which holds the reciprocating die stationary before the commencement of the working stroke to allow insertion of a workpiece into the dies while the dies are stationary relative to each other. The cam produces slow acceleration of the reciprocating die during the initial portion of the rolling operation to prevent workpiece slippage. The working stroke exceeds one-half of the machine cycle. Die match can be adjusted while the machine is running. Separate adjustment means are provided to adjust the tilt, parallelism, and pitch of the dies, with the pitch adjustment permitting pitch adjustment while the machine is running and without affecting tilt and parallelism adjustment. A hydraulic drive is provided to power the machine and provide high torque during jog operations and speed control during normal running operation.

摘要： The present invention relates to a system and method of data restoration, for instance, after the occurrence of a user error. In particular, snapshot database can be maintained that stores a copy of database data. The snapshot database does not have to store a complete copy of all data on a source database, but rather shares data that is common to both but not necessarily identical. If an error occurs on the primary database then the database can be reverted back to a point in time prior to the error by replacing source database files with snapshot files. Additionally, an undo component can be employed in conjunction with the snapshot to approach an error to a finer grained point in time. In brief, the present invention can restore a database much faster and simpler, while utilizing less space and resources than conventional data restoration technologies.

摘要： A lightweight, versatile stool for sportsmen and other applications comprises a seat and folding front and rear leg components pivotally attached thereto. The rear leg component establishes a plurality of rearward points of ground contact, whereas the front leg establishes a single point of forward ground contact. A set of shoulder straps preferably attached to the rearward leg component allows a user to carry the stool on his/her back with the leg components folded toward one another The front leg component is length-adjustable, and a bar is provided for attaching a backpack or other accessories. The seat swivels and tilts relative to the front and rear leg components to accommodate differing terrains and to provide comfort. The forward leg component may be nested in the rearward leg component in substantially the same plane for a low carrying profile. The seat has a padded upper surface which rests against the back of a wearer to provide comfort while using the shoulder straps.
