    摘要: The invention relates to a motor vehicle (1), the passenger cell (2) of which is integrated into the rest of the vehicle as a separate unit. The motor vehicle (1) has a device, by means of which, in the event of a crash, the passenger cell (2) can be moved in the longitudinal direction of the vehicle relative to the rest of the vehicle and at the same time upward, via guide surfaces (15), which are arranged on the rest of the vehicle and against which the passenger cell (2) bears. In order to reduce the risk of injury for the vehicle occupants in the event of a crash, it is proposed that the device be designed in such a manner that the passenger cell (2) can be moved in the opposite direction to the impact.

In order to be able to connect high-strength sheets or other sheets which can be difficult to weld to each other, the sheets are connected in the connecting region by a strip-shaped fastening element. The strip-shaped fastening element encloses the outer contour of the flanges and rests with some sections of its inner side on mutually remote surfaces of the two flanges. A method for producing the connecting region is also proposed.

    摘要: The support structure of a body for a motor, vehicle is assembled from large-size partial modules. Two partial modules connected to each other comprise support sections and wall and/or floor sections connected thereto. Support sections of one partial module are connected to associated support sections of the other partial module at abutment points. In order to design a highly stressed connection between partial modules of the support structure in a very stable and simple manner, the support sections of the two partial modules, which support sections are assigned in each case to one another, are assembled to form a continuous support. Abutting surfaces of the assembled support sections run obliquely with respect to the direction of extent of the support. This oblique profile of the abutting surfaces creates a connection over a very large area in relation to the cross section of the support, which ensures an extremely stable connection of the two parts to each other.
