Abstract: Examples of sensor-based roaming issue identification in a wireless network are disclosed. In an example, a wireless roam for a sensor may be initiated from a source AP to a target AP. Management traffic between the sensor and one of the source AP or the target AP during the wireless roam may be monitored. In response to detecting an anomaly in the management traffic, the wireless roam for the sensor from the source AP to the target AP may be re-initiated. Management traffic capture on the sensor during the reinitiated wireless roam may be initiated. A roaming issue for the sensor may be identified based on analysis of the captured management traffic and the same may be reported.

Abstract: Examples of location determination of access points in a network are disclosed. In an example, a provisional proximity matrix comprising a measured distance between each pair of Access Points (APs) of a plurality of APs in a network is generated. Missing distances between one or more pairs of APs in the provisional proximity matrix are filled to generate a complete proximity matrix. A provisional deployment location map is generated for the plurality of APs based on the complete proximity matrix. Relative angles between paths connecting each pair of APs of the plurality of APs in the provisional deployment location map is determined. The filled distances in the complete proximity matrix are revised based on the relative angles to generate a corrected proximity matrix. A complete deployment location map for the plurality of APs is generated based on the corrected proximity matrix.

Abstract: Systems and methods are configured to receive a first request to schedule a Time To Wake (TWT) service period (SP) for a first station. The first request can be based on individual TWT protocol. That the TWT SP satisfies a threshold level of similarity with an existing TWT SP maintained for a group of at least one station scheduled to communicate over the existing TWT SP can be determined. The group can include a second station. The first station can be assigned to the group. A first packet can be transmitted to the first station and a second packet can be transmitted to the second station over the existing TWT SP.

Abstract: Systems and methods for grouping client devices for uplink multi-user transmission are provided. Client device groups may be determined based on at least one of traffic compatibility/similarity, client device class compatibility/similarity, and uplink pathloss similarity. A target received signal strength measured by an AP with which client devices in the client device groups communicate and an appropriate modulation coding scheme rate to be used by the client devices may be determined and set for the client devices. The modulation coding scheme rate can be adjusted based on feedback regarding successful data packet reception at the AP from each of the client devices.

Abstract: Systems and techniques are described that are directed to filter frequency response shift compensation, including compensating for shifting in the rejection band of the filter. Compensation for the shifting in the rejection band can include applying a pre-distortion to attenuate edge resource units (RUs), and applying PHY Protocol Data Unit (PPDU) scheduling schemes. For example, a PPDU scheduling scheme reduce bandwidth in the channel, thereby dropping the out of band RUs. Front ends provide feedback to a respective radio, which allows that radio to apply the appropriate pre-distortion. The front ends can include one or more filters enabling frequency domain coexistence between collocated radios operating in the differing Wi-Fi bands, and a coupler that provides the feedback indicating the frequency response shift to a radio. The radio can then apply a digital pre-distortion to compensate for the shifting in the rejection band.

Abstract: Systems and methods are provided for optimizing channel bandwidth while increasing downlink multi-user, multiple-input, multiple-output (DL MU-MIMO) gain. Depending on the access point (AP) platform, for example, APs exhibit certain characteristics regarding DL MU-MIMO gain as a function of the number of DL MU-MIMO clients associated to the AP. Accordingly, APs can be configured to operate in accordance with an algorithm that checks the number of DL MU-MIMO capable clients are associated to an AP, and dynamically switch between single- and dual-radio modes of operation to take advantage of those DL MU-MIMO gains.
