Abstract: An object of the present invention is to provide a fuel injection device in which variations in an injection flow rate for each injection is suppressed and an injection amount is stabilized.The fuel injection device according to the present invention includes: a valve element that is seated on or unseated from a valve seat; a plurality of guide parts (302a, 302b, 302c) that slidably guide the valve element; and flow paths (306a, 306b, 306c) sandwiched between the guide parts in a circumferential direction. In the fuel injection device, one guide part (302a) among the plurality of guide parts is formed to have a longer circumferential length than that of other guide parts (302b, 302c).

Abstract: A drive device capable of detecting individual variations of an injection quantity of a fuel injection device of each cylinder and adjusting a current waveform provided to an injection pulse width and a solenoid such that the individual variations of the fuel injection devices are reduced. The fuel injection device in the present invention includes a valve body that close a fuel passage by coming into contact with a valve seat and opens the fuel passage by separating from the valve seat and a magnetic circuit constructed of a solenoid, a fixed core, a nozzle holder a housing and a needle and when a current is supplied to the solenoid a magnetic suction force acts on the needle and the needle has a function to open the valve body by colliding against the valve body after performing a free running operation and changes of acceleration of the needle due to collision of the needle against the valve body are detected by a current flowing through the solenoid.

Abstract: A fuel injection valve which ensures improved uniformity of a swirl flow in a circumferential direction. Abstract: One passage for swirling is formed in an orifice plate fixed on a nozzle body. Two swirl chambers in which fuel is caused to swirl so that the fuel has swirling force are provided at an end of the one passage for swirling on the downstream side of the flow direction of fuel. Therefore, the collision between the swirling flow in the swirl chamber and the fuel flowing in the passage for swirling is mitigated, and the swirling flow can be smoothly produced to promote pulverization of sprays injected from fuel injection ports.
