摘要: An after treatment system is disclosed. The after treatment system may include an exhaust pipe through which an exhaust gas flows; a three-way catalyst (TWC) mounted on the exhaust pipe and purifying HC, CO, and NOx contained in the exhaust gas, an ammonia production catalyst (APC) mounted on the exhaust pipe at a downstream of the TWC, storing NOx at a lean air/fuel ratio, and generating H2, releasing the stored NOx, and generating NH3 using the released NOx and the generated H2 at a rich air/fuel ratio, and a selective catalytic reduction (SCR) catalyst mounted on the exhaust pipe at a downstream of the APC, storing the NH3 generated in the TWC and the APC, and reducing the NOx contained in the exhaust gas using the stored NH3.

摘要: A vehicle exhaust gas purification system and a control method thereof that may effectively remove nitrogen oxides in an exhaust gas even in a cold state, which is the initial stage of an engine starting, is disclosed. A control method of an exhaust gas purification system of a vehicle may include: a step of performing a rich control for controlling a concentration of non-combusted fuel contained in the exhaust gas flowing into the housing to be a rich fuel directly after the starting of the engine; a step of performing a lean control for controlling the concentration of the non-combusted fuel contained in the exhaust gas flowing into the housing to be a lean fuel; a step of determining whether a temperature of the exhaust gas flowing into the housing is a predetermined temperature or more; and a step of performing a normal control for controlling the concentration of the non-combusted fuel contained in the exhaust gas flowing into the housing so that a lean fuel and a rich fuel are periodically repeated with a regular interval.

摘要: An exhaust gas purification system for vehicle provided on an exhaust pipe connected to an exhaust side of an engine for purifying an exhaust gas of the engine includes a housing mounted on the exhaust pipe, a front end catalyst incorporated in the housing to primarily purify the exhaust gas flowing into the housing through the front end portion of the housing, a rear end catalyst incorporated in the housing to secondarily purify the exhaust gas passing through the front end catalyst before the exhaust gas flows out to the rear end portion of the housing, and a controller connected to the exhaust pipe at a front end portion of the housing to control the concentration of unburned fuel contained in the exhaust gas according to temperature of exhaust gas flowing into the housing and speed of the vehicle.

摘要: An after treatment system for a lean-burn engine is disclosed. The after treatment system is sequentially equipped with an ammonia production catalyst module, a selective catalytic reduction (SCR) catalyst, and a CO clean-up catalyst (CUC) on an exhaust pipe through which an exhaust gas flows and which is connected to a lean-burn engine. An exhaust flow changer is disposed between the ammonia production catalyst module and the SCR catalyst. The exhaust flow changer changes flow of an exhaust gas discharged from the ammonia production catalyst module according to a temperature of the SCR catalyst.

摘要: A catalyst oxygen purge control method may include a catalyst oxygen purge control method during a cold engine period of a catalyst oxygen purge control apparatus which includes a three way catalytic converter through which an exhaust gas combusted when air and fuel are mixed in a combustion chamber is exhausted and the exhaust gas passes, wherein the method includes determining whether a fuel cut condition of an injector which injects the fuel to the combustion chamber is satisfied, performing fuel cut of the injector when the fuel cut condition is satisfied, measuring an oxygen storage capacity of the three way catalyst, and adjusting an oxygen purge time based on the measured oxygen storage capacity.
