    摘要: A device for measuring a flowing air quantity is proposed which comprises a sensor element which is exposed to the flowing air, is constructed in thick-film technology and contains a heating film resistor (R.sub.H), which is arranged on an insulating substrate (10) and through which current flows, and a sensor film resistor (R.sub.S) which is likewise arranged on the insulating substrate (10), serves to sense the temperature of the heating film resistor (R.sub.H) and is a component of a bridge circuit. The heating film resistor (R.sub.H) and the sensor film resistor (R.sub.S), separated from one another by an intermediate film (13) which is a good conductor of heat but is electrically insulating, are accommodated in a bubble (11) which is made of ceramic material, in particular of glass ceramic, and is arched on the insulating substrate (10). The thin diaphragm (14) made of a ceramic material ensures effective thermal uncoupling of the film resistors (R.sub.H, R.sub.S) from the insulating substrate (10). Short response times are thereby achieved.

    摘要: Known sensor supports have a recess in which a sensor element is glued by means of an adhesive. The device according to the invention has a plate-shaped sensor element that is accommodated in a recess of a sensor support. A sensor region (3) has at least one measurement resistor, which region is exposed to the flowing medium wherein a gap remains between the sensor element and the recess. To protect an evaluation circuit connected to the sensor element against moisture, the provision is made, according to the invention, that at least partial regions of the evaluation circuit and partial regions of the sensor element are covered by a protective coating, wherein the gap has at least one enlargement by means of which the flow of the protective coating can be influenced. The device according to the invention is used for measuring the mass of a flowing medium in the intake air mass of internal combustion engines.

    摘要: A device for measuring the mass of a flowing medium, or flow rate meters, having a measuring element accommodated in a measurement support; upstream of the measuring element, a grid with flow openings is provided. To attain a substantially rotational symmetrical velocity distribution even in the case of a severely impeded oncoming flow, the grid has flow openings, which at least regionally have a different flow cross section. The flow cross sections of the flow openings are adapted to the oncoming flow, in order to bring about a flow with substantially even velocity distribution downstream of the grid. The device is intended for measuring the mass of a flowing medium, in particular for measuring the mass of aspirated air in internal combustion engines.

    摘要: A measuring element for determining the flow rate of the aspirated air of an internal combustion engine comprising a substrate, which is divided by two parallel separating slits of equal length into three prongs on which temperature-dependent resistor tracks are disposed. The measuring element has separating slits of optimized shape. To lessen the notch action and reduce tension peaks at the ends of the slits, one separating slit has a segment with a curved course, and another separating slit has a slit end embodied as an enlargement. The novel measuring element is especially suitable for determining the flow rate of the aspirated air in internal combustion engines.

    摘要: The invention is directed to a flow sensor having a heater, two temperature measuring sensors, a heater temperature sensor and a medium temperature sensor. A control circuit is provided which controls the overtemperature of the heater in dependence upon the temperature of the flowing medium. With this arrangement, the influence of the temperature dependency of the following on the sensor characteristic are compensated: viscosity, thermal conductance and thermal capacity of the medium. The relationship between the heater temperature and the temperature of the medium is adjusted in a slightly nonlinear manner by means of special evaluation circuits. In this way, a further improvement of the temperature compensation is obtained.
