摘要: A measuring element for determining the flow rate of the aspirated air of an internal combustion engine comprising a substrate, which is divided by two parallel separating slits of equal length into three prongs on which temperature-dependent resistor tracks are disposed. The measuring element has separating slits of optimized shape. To lessen the notch action and reduce tension peaks at the ends of the slits, one separating slit has a segment with a curved course, and another separating slit has a slit end embodied as an enlargement. The novel measuring element is especially suitable for determining the flow rate of the aspirated air in internal combustion engines.

摘要: A micromechanical sensor and a method for manufacturing a micromechanical sensor which has at least one membrane are provided. The membrane is made of a first material which is accommodated in a surrounding second material, and the membrane is configured for sensing a medium surrounding it. The membrane is reinforced, at least partly, by a third material at break-sensitive points on the membrane rim. Reinforcement of the membrane rim increases the stability and thus also the service life of the membrane and the sensor.

摘要: A device for contactless determination of a rotary angle has a coil body, sensor coils arranged on the coil body so that their inductivity and alternating current resistance values vary in dependence on a relative change of the size of regions of a sleeve-shaped measuring part composed of electrically conductive and/or ferromagnetic material which are associated with the sensor coils, at least one coil being formed as a wire coil which is arranged on a side of the coil body facing the measuring part. The at least one coil has several coil regions extending in a circumferential direction and parallel to an outer surface of the coil body, and in the regions of the coil a winding direction of the at least one coil changes on the catches.

摘要: Known sensor supports have a recess in which a sensor element is glued by means of an adhesive. The device according to the invention has a plate-shaped sensor element that is accommodated in a recess of a sensor support. A sensor region (3) has at least one measurement resistor, which region is exposed to the flowing medium wherein a gap remains between the sensor element and the recess. To protect an evaluation circuit connected to the sensor element against moisture, the provision is made, according to the invention, that at least partial regions of the evaluation circuit and partial regions of the sensor element are covered by a protective coating, wherein the gap has at least one enlargement by means of which the flow of the protective coating can be influenced. The device according to the invention is used for measuring the mass of a flowing medium in the intake air mass of internal combustion engines.

摘要: A device for measuring the mass of a flowing medium, or flow rate meters, having a measuring element accommodated in a measurement support; upstream of the measuring element, a grid with flow openings is provided. To attain a substantially rotational symmetrical velocity distribution even in the case of a severely impeded oncoming flow, the grid has flow openings, which at least regionally have a different flow cross section. The flow cross sections of the flow openings are adapted to the oncoming flow, in order to bring about a flow with substantially even velocity distribution downstream of the grid. The device is intended for measuring the mass of a flowing medium, in particular for measuring the mass of aspirated air in internal combustion engines.

摘要: The invention proposes a device for measuring the mass of a flowing medium, in particular the mass of air aspirated by internal combustion engines. The device has a platelike sensor element which is accommodated in a recess of a sensor carrier, and which with a sensor region that has at least one measuring resistor is exposed to the flowing medium in order to measure its mass. The sensor element is accommodated essentially flush in the recess and is retained in the recess by being glued to a bottom face in the recess. The bottom face of the recess of the sensor carrier has a troughlike indentation, which extends at least partially along the circumference of the sensor element outside the sensor region that has the at least one measuring resistor. The device according to the invention is intended to measure the mass of a flowing medium, in particular for measuring the mass of air aspirated by internal combustion engines.

摘要: The invention is directed to a flow sensor having a heater, two temperature measuring sensors, a heater temperature sensor and a medium temperature sensor. A control circuit is provided which controls the overtemperature of the heater in dependence upon the temperature of the flowing medium. With this arrangement, the influence of the temperature dependency of the following on the sensor characteristic are compensated: viscosity, thermal conductance and thermal capacity of the medium. The relationship between the heater temperature and the temperature of the medium is adjusted in a slightly nonlinear manner by means of special evaluation circuits. In this way, a further improvement of the temperature compensation is obtained.

The layer of material can be formed as a resistive film for a heating resistor element. The shape, size and pattern of the recesses are selected to balance the thermal stress across the surface of the layer of material.
