Abstract:
A codable kink protection is formed such that this forms an interference-fit connection with a coding sleeve. The coding means are provided with a through slot, thus allowing the coding sleeve to be pushed over the cable and the flexible bush. The coding sleeve is made of an elastic colored plastic and is shaped essentially complementary to the kink protection housing, in order to achieve a form-fit connection therewith. This coding sleeve can be applied and removed without necessitating special tooling and is excellently visible from all viewing angles.
Abstract:
The contact set of a plug connector part such as a contact plug or a contact jack for high frequency data transmission over electric conductors comprises a row of contact points for connecting to corresponding contact points of the mating component of the plug or jack which are connected over conductors with insulation piercing connecting devices. At least adjacent conductors (1, 2) are arranged so they wrap around one another at a predetermined distance in their common plane between the insulation piercing connecting devices (11, 12) and the contact springs (21, 22) forming the contact points for compensation of the capacitive and inductive coupling. This avoids crossover and recrossing in different planes, but now a type of crossing is achieved in a plane common to all conductors. In addition, both the capacitive and the inductive coupling can be compensated effectively and equally beyond the 300 MHz range.
Abstract:
In a connection device with a number of spaced and through-connected electrical contacts, the contacts are through-connected by means of band-shaped flexible printed conductor foil, whereby at least partially electrically separable contacts are through-connected via a number of at least partially parallel printed conductors on the printed conductor foil and whereby printed conductor sections create direct plugged contacts tacts in the plug areas of modular plugging and/or socket means of the connection device.
Abstract:
A plug connection part, in particular for RJ45 plug connectors, comprises a multiplicity of conductor paths which have at one end a contact spring and at the other end an output contact, where the contact springs starting from an end facing away from the output contact run towards the output contact, and where the conductor paths run at least partly mutually crossing in a compensation section following the contact springs and the conductor paths along a part length of the compensation section lie at least partly above each other and run electrically separated by means of an insulator arranged in between.
Abstract:
The multiple contact pin holder of a modular connection device for telephone or weak current systems includes a device for solderless insulation displacement wiring which are provided with at least one pivoting cover which can be pressed down onto the body of the contact pin holder and from the contact side of which ribs extend downwards. These ribs enter the body's slits for receiving wires when the pivoting cover is pressed down onto the body and press the inserted wires into the insulation displacers of the contact pins. The slits for receiving wires are provided with lateral retaining projections arranged above one another. At least one retaining projection is located near the spot where the wires are inserted for the purpose of positioning the inserted wire, and the other retaining projection is located near a region of the insulation displacer for the purpose of fastening the wire which is pressed into the insulation displacer.
Abstract:
The device for connecting sheathed lines for telephones and data communications is characterized by a metallic ground plate with supports on a printed circuit board, etc. with one bent-back tongue which forms a contact spike for lateral insertion of a sheathed line or cable between its sheath and cover, and a second tongue located at a distance from and at least nearly parallel to the contact spike which forms a trough for supporting cables. This trough can be bent towards the contact spike by stripping the cable with a cable binder.
Abstract:
A modular multiple contact assembly includes a plug; a socket member having a socket opening for receiving the plug in a predetermined orientation; a first encoding sleeve securable to the plug; and a second encoding sleeve securable to the socket member. At least one of the first and second encoding sleeves is angularly and end-over-end placeable into a plurality of positions to bring into alignment different cross-sectional shapes of the first and second encoding sleeves. In a selected position one of the cross-sectional shapes of the first encoding sleeve matches with a cross-sectional shape of the second encoding sleeve, whereby in such a selected position the first and second encoding sleeves fit into one another to allow insertion of the plug into the socket opening.
Abstract:
A casing for an auxiliary device to optically display an incoming telephone call includes a bottom portion which is detachably connected to a cover portion. Accommodated in the so-formed interior space is a frame which carries a plurality of reflectors spaced along its periphery and reflecting the light towards the outside through a viewing window of the cover portion. For supporting a print card within the interior space, the frame is provided with inwardly projecting clamps each of which having two shanks to hold the print card therebetween.
Abstract:
A cable terminal contract assembly (3) encompasses two spaced apart tongues (4) with contact springs (7) exhibiting contact points (8), wherein the longitudinal edges of the tongues are intended for the insertable, positive meshing with guide grooves of one of the chambers of a multiple-connection strap. The tongues (4) exhibit wire connecting means at the free end, insulation-piercing connecting devices (5), and are connected on the inner end by a web (6) with a narrow width. The contact assembly is a through contact that is transformable into a separating contact by separating the web, or into a switching contact by inserting an isolating piece or via molding. The connection strap casing can be produced as a one-piece plastic body.
Abstract:
