    摘要： Fungicidal solutions containing 2,4,5,6-tetrachloroisophthalodinitrile are provided. The solutions are prepared by dissolving from 5% to 12% by weight of 2,4,5,6-tetrachloroisophthalodinitrile in 1,3-dimethyl-2-imidazolidinone. The solutions are clear and can be stirred without streaking or sedimentation into water-based paints or lacquers or solvent-containing paints or lacquers.

    摘要： In the process for the preparation of high concentration, low-viscosity liquid pigment pastes comprising mixing pigments, a substantially non-volatile liquid organic media, a suspension assistant, and, optionally, fillers, the improvement consisting of using acidic reaction products of the reaction of:(A) unsaturated dicarboxylic acid compounds, and(B) an unsaturated ester of a dicarboxylic acid, which reaction product is produced by heating said component A and said component B in a weight ratio of 1:7 to 1:35 for from 1 to 25 hours at a temperature in the range of 200.degree. to 250.degree., as said suspension assistant;as well as the high concentration, low-viscosity pigment pastes and solutions of said acidic reaction products in organic liquid media.

    摘要： Poly-N-acylalkyleneimines corresponding to the following formula ##STR1## are used as an oxidatively crosslinking constituent in paints. In formula (I), R--CO represents the acyl radical of a mono- or polyunsaturated, aliphatic C.sub.16-22 carboxylic acid or a mixture of such radicals, R'--CO represents the acyl radical of a C.sub.1-22 carboxylic acid or a mixture of such radicals and x and y represent the percentages by weight of the particular polymer units, x assuming values of 20 to 100% and preferably 20 to 95% and y assuming values of 80 to 0% and preferably 80 to 5%. The indices m and n independently of one another may assume the value 2 or 3.

    摘要： The invention herein relates to the preparation of solution polymerizates of acrylic and methacrylic esters. More particularly, this invention relates to a process for the preparation of solution polymerizates of acrylic or methacrylic acid esters of alcohols wherein acrylic or methacrylic monomers are polymerized in a solvent of high-boiling alcohols of from 8 to 40 carbon atoms and 1 to 6 hydroxyl groups, the total batch to be polymerized containing from about 15 to 85 percent by weight of polymerizable substance, based on the weight of the total batch. This invention also relates to a method of using said solution polymerizates to improve the flow properties of lacquers.
