摘要: This disclosure describes systems, methods, and devices for signaling multiple modulation and coding schemes for a single user. A device may generate a common field of an ultra-high reliability signal (UHR-SIG) content channel field, the common field including signaling for station devices; generate a number of spatial streams (NSS) subfield of a user specific field of the UHR-SIG content channel field, the user specific field addressed to a first station device of the multiple station devices; generate a 6-bit modulation and coding scheme (MCS) subfield of the user specific field, wherein the 6-bit MCS subfield maps, based on a number of spatial streams signaled by the NSS subfield, to one or more MCSs assigned to the first station device; generate a frame including the UHR-SIG content channel field, wherein a user field of the user specific field includes at least 22 bits including the MCS subfield; and send the frame.

摘要: An extremely high-throughput (EHT) station (STA) may encode an EHT PPDU for transmission on a plurality of subchannels. The EHT STA may determine a spectral mask to apply to the EHT PPDU prior to transmission of the EHT PPDU. When preamble puncturing is performed, the EHT STA may apply an overall spectral mask to the EHT PPDU prior to transmission. The overall spectral mask may be based on an interim spectral mask and a preamble-puncture spectral mask. The subchannels may be in a 6 GHz band and the EHT STA may determine if preamble puncturing is to be performed for one or more of the subchannels based on a presence of incumbents in the one or more of the subchannels, although the scope of the embodiments is not limited in this respect.

摘要: An apparatus and method of signaling coding type is disclosed. The coding types include binary convolutional coding (BCC), legacy lifted Low-Density Parity Check (LDPC) code, and lifted LDPC code having a length that is a multiple of the maximum legacy LDPC code. The number of bits used to indicate the coding type in a User Info field depends on whether multiple lifted LDPC codes are available for encoding, whether the lifted LDPC code is an optional coding type, or a payload size. The frame containing the User Info field is transmitted to another STA and the response contains a payload encoded using the indicated coding type.

摘要: This disclosure describes mechanisms for performing rate matching in low-density parity check (LPDC) codes in a wireless network. A device may generate an Aggregated Media Access (MAC) Protocol Data Unit (AMPDU) payload having an AMPDU payload size associated with a number of bits. The device may omit pre-Forward Error Correction (FEC) padding of the AMPDU payload at a MAC layer by indicating the AMPDU payload size in a physical layer (PHY)-specific preamble. The device may then generate the PHY-specific preamble comprising the AMPDU payload size without the pre-FEC padding. The device may also calculate a number of Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing (OFDM) symbols for containing the number of bits and transmit the PHY-specific preamble and the number of OFDM symbols to a station device.

摘要: A physical layer protocol data unit (PPDU) may include legacy preamble fields followed by a universal signal field (U-SIG). For an extended range (ER) transmission, the U-SIG is encoded to indicate via a bit whether the PPDU is an ER PPDU or a non-ER PPDU. When the U-SIG is encoded to indicate that the PPDU is an ER PPDU, the PPDU may include ER preamble fields following the U-SIG and an ER data field following the ER preamble fields. The ER preamble fields may comprise pre-ER modulated fields followed by ER modulated fields. The pre-ER modulate fields may comprise an ER short training field (ER-STF) followed by an ER long training field (ER-LTF) followed by an ER signal field (ER-SIG). The ER modulated fields may comprise at least the ER data field.

摘要: This disclosure describes systems, methods, and devices related to an enhanced hybrid automatic repeat request (HARQ). A device may determine two or more HARQ medium access control (MAC) frames. The device may determine a difference between a first number of bits of a physical layer (PHY) codeword and a second number of bits of a first HARQ MAC frame of the two or more HARQ MAC frames. The device may generate, based on the difference, a third number of bits, wherein the first number of bits is equal to a sum of the second number of bits and the third number of bits. The device may generate an aggregated MAC frame comprising the first HARQ MAC frame, the third number of bits, and a second HARQ MAC frame of the two or more HARQ MAC frames. The device may send the aggregated MAC frame.
