    摘要: A system that incorporates teachings of the present disclosure may include, for example, a server including a controller to receive audio signals and content identification information from a media processor, generate text representing a voice message based on the audio signals, determine an identity of media content based on the content identification information, generate an enhanced message having text and additional content where the additional content is obtained by the controller based on the identity of the media content, and transmit the enhanced message to the media processor for presentation on the display device, where the enhanced message is accessible by one or more communication devices that are associated with a social network and remote from the media processor.     摘要: A speech utterance is sensed using a mobile telecommunication device. The speech utterance is compressed into compressed data that is communicated from the mobile telecommunication device to a remote system. The remote system performs a first remote attempt to recognize the speech utterance using a personal directory specific to the mobile telecommunication device, and a second remote attempt to recognize the speech utterance using a group directory for a group of which the mobile telecommunication device is a member. At least one remote recognition result is communicated back to the mobile telecommunication device based on the first and second remote attempts. The mobile telecommunication device performs a local attempt to recognize the speech utterance and retrieves at least one local recognition result based thereon. A final recognition result set is determined based on the at least one local recognition result and the at least one remote recognition result.

    摘要: An automated directory assistance platform architecture is provided for at least partial automatic processing of 411 calls from TDM-based telephone networks and from VoIP networks. The architecture includes three layers. One layer is a telephony network interface that accepts information from both TDM and VoIP based DA networks. The telephony layer sequesters the other two layers from the complexities of interacting with different source networks. Another layer is a VoiceXML-based IVR dialog engine that directs information received from the telephony interface. The third layer is an App Server Layer that processes information received from the dialog engine by retrieving information from an internet-accessible database. Calls that cannot be handled completely by automation are handed off to a live operator working in all IP environment.

    摘要: Methods, systems, and products measure health data related to a user. A spoken phrase is received and time-stamped. The user is identified from the spoken phrase. A window of time is determined from a semantic content of the spoken phrase. A sensor measurement is received and time-stamped. A difference in time between the time-stamped spoken phrase and the time-stamped sensor measurement is determined and compared to the window of time. When the difference in time is within the window of time, then the sensor measurement is associated with the user.
